Since we have been instructed to clarify - my sales were down 64% from February of last year. My most recent uploads were in February, 2013 (this month). During 2012 I uploaded hundreds of new files. I try to limit my uploads to those files I feel are of the best quality. I hope that satisfies the new requirements of this thread that I didn't know about earlier in the day. |

The only thing saving last month was some ELs and E+ images I recently added. This downturn all started in September for me, even while uploading sales continued down, then I gave up in December. This downturn is totally out of my hands, which is the scray part. I see you added more to your original post, I did not see that when I posted, sorry. In short, I did not think she needed to be singled out. Cmann, I agree. It wasn't right to single out any one person in this thread. |

Last year, even when most were complaining about bad sales, I was pretty satisfied with my earnings month to month on my very small, very inexpensive, non-exclusive portfolio. As you can see, very stable:  This good trend continued in January with my BME. But in February, the bottom fell out. Earnings less than half of January's PP sales.  I hope things turn around. |

Posted Fri Mar 1 11:54PM | Sales stats suggestion: How about kicking off the monthly thread with the global istock stats vs previous month and vs same month in previous year? Before you disspell this suggestion it is worthwhile to think about the pros and cons of it. And remember, "the powers that were" used to do this at a very high level on a yearly basis. |

For the February thread this could read something like: In January we increased exclusive bias, tuned down effect of localization, increased weight of older files, increased bump for new uploads, ... |

 Posted Sat Mar 2 12:37AM | Up slightly. Trending upward. Many (weekend) days with no sales at alll. Last day of the month was great! Lots of new uploads this year but they;re not selling. Lots of new files in similar ategories and keywords as old files (and shot better!) but they're not selling. Old files are driving all growth. Not sure how this theory plays out with the current performance of new files. Perhaps, instead of assuring a slow rise in revenues, aggressive uploading just slows down the fall a tiny bit. I'd love to hear from the folks whose photos are on top of searches right now. People who have lots of 10+ sellers from all eras. How are you guys doing? Are things any better? |

 Posted Sat Mar 2 8:58AM | Feb 2013 compared to Feb 2012 -38% $ Porftolio increased by 9% in 2012 RPI down 50% Portfolio size 2800 Consistant trend for the last 7 months. Exclusive for 7.5 years with regular uploads and portfolio investment. Feb 2013 is my last month as an exclusive. |

 Posted Sat Mar 2 7:00PM | FEB not so good. Was doing really well until the 14th, then sales dryed up completly, as if my portfolio went off line. Not sure how it happens . Going from selling on a daily basis to nothing for almost two weeks! |
