Long-lasting Camera Cases

Hi there,


I shoot a lot of events, and also travel through airports a lot with my camera bag... but my lowepro roller x300 has broken after just 5 months of use! The wheels have broken, and whilst I believe they're repairable, I can see this bag is not a long term solution for my equipment. 


I'm considering getting a hard case- plastic or metal, does anyone have any recommendations? Obviously I don't want something tooo heavy- my lowepro is too heavy as it is! Budget is not too much of an issue, as I believe if I get the right thing it should last a couple of years.

Perhaps not the prettiest but the pelicases are indestructible.

Think Tank (thinktankphoto.com) I have been using their Airport International roller bag now for over 5 years without any problems. Well made rugged piece of kit that doesn't scream camera bag. Comes with TSA security locks and a security cable to attach the bag to immovable objects.
