I've put together a script to make the my uploads page more contributor-friendly.
It does many of the same kinds of things as the old scripts you may be using, but does things a bit differently and adds a bunch more features.

You can use the script in Chrome by installing directly from the Chrome store. The script is here:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/istock-myuploads-fixes/ckloododgagaeepfamopjnjgbhbanlcg

Chrome is the only supported browser.

Once you've installed the script, you'll see a cog-wheel button up by the My Uploads heading.

myUploads-1

If you click that you'll see the Settings panel for this script.

myUploads-2

There are quite a few things you can configure. I'll mention most of what can be configured as we go along. But two are worth pointing out right away.

The Date format option lets you change how dates are displayed in the Uploaded and Last DL columns.
And the Thumbnail width option lets you change the size at which thumbnails are displayed. I like 110px myself, but that probably means I need stronger glasses.

You can close the settings panel by clicking on the Close button in the upper right corner.

Just below the settings button is a row of navigation links to all of the My Uploads family of pages.

When you mouse-over a thumbnail you get a Loupe much like on your portfolio or search results page.

myUploads-3

If you tick the Show file description in loupe option in the settings panel you can also see a couple of lines of the description too. And if you prefer, you can switch off the Show file title in loupe option if you like a cleaner display.

myUploads-4

You can also switch the loupe off entirely if you prefer.

By the Last DL column heading there's a little red Downloads button.

myUploads-5

If you click that, the script will load up details of all the sales you had for that file on the last DL date and add those details to the Last DL column. (If you have a really successful file with more than 20 sales in a day, only the most recent 20 sales will be shown).

myUploads-6

If you then mouse-over the Last DL sales details, older sales details for that file will be shown (again, up to a maximum of 20 sales).

myUploads-8

If you tick the Fetch latest ELs checkbox in the settings panel the script will also load up details for the three most recent ELs for that file.

myUploads-7

Your Pending files will also be checked and any that have been locked for inspection will be indicated.

myUploads-15

The script also moves the Last DL column to the right hand side of the table, where the Gods of Good Taste intended it to be. You're welcome to leave it lost in the middle of the table by unticking the Move Last DL column to end checkbox if you're weird, but people will laugh and point and talk about you behind your back.

It also removes the superfluous Edit buttons from the File column since you can also get to the edit page by clicking on the file id number. But you can bring them back by unticking the Remove Edit buttons checkbox in the settings.

Some bar graphs are added to the bottom of the page showing you a breakdown of the various files listed on that page broken down into ranges of age and number of DLs. That's useful when you sort by Last DL, for example, and you're interested to see if older or newer files seem to be selling.

If you don't want to see those graphs, you can untick the Show sales graphs checkbox in the settings (it's ticked by default).

myUploads-10

And finally, all the columns are listed at the bottom of the settings panel. You can unclutter the table by unticking any of the checkboxes which will make that particular column disappear. Personally I like to get rid of the DLs/mo, Ratings and Comments columns, but configure it however suits you. You can, of course, bring those columns back by ticking the relevant checkbox again.

But wait, there's more!
It seems like other pages in the "my uploads" family should also work the same way so thumbnail resizing, loupe and date formatting options also apply to:
- the Subscription Royalty page
- the Extended Licenses Royalty page
- the Extended Licenses Earnings page
- the Partner Program sales page
- the GI Sales page
- the My Images in Designs page
- the My Images in Lightboxes page
- the Exclusive+ page.

It may even work on the Photo+ page. I don't know because I don't have one. Is there even such a thing? Let me know if it does or doesn't work!

As on the regular sales page, you'll find a red Downloads button on the Partner Program and Getty Images pages. Clicking it shows you the 3 latest PP/GI sales for each file and mouse-over shows you up to 20 PP/GI sales.

myUploads-9

Your most recent sale will be displayed in the toolbar. If this is a new sale that you've not seen before, the sales details will be shown in bold yellow.

myUploads-11

If your most recent sale isn't new then the sales details will be shown in grey.

myUploads-12

If your most recent sale has ever had an Extended License sale, details of its most recent EL are also shown.

myUploads-14

If you hover your mouse over the thumbnail in the toolbar you'll get a loupe showing you a larger version of the thumbnail, plus nine more small thumbnails so that you can see the last ten files downloaded.

myUploads-13
If you don't want to see your most recent sale in the toolbar you can remove it by unticking the Show latest sale in the toolbar checkbox in the settings (it's ticked by default).

If you want to see just the large thumbnail in the toolbar loupe and not the nine smaller thumbnails you can remove them by unticking the Latest DL loupe shows 9 previous DLs checkbox in the settings (it's ticked by default).

Enjoy!

Changes
v1.0.15: 30 March 2013
- the toolbar shows you the most recently known sale (rather than the text "Loading...") whilst checking for new sales;
- if your latest sale has ever had and Extended License sale, its most recent EL is also shown in the toolbar.

v1.0.16: 31 March 2013
- check if Pending files have been locked for inspection.

v1.0.18: 2 April 2013
  • There's a new checkbox in the settings to say if you DON'T want to see the latest sale's most recent EL details in the toolbar.
  • I think that the script didn't properly recognise Photo+ files previously and just marked them as regular Photo files in the collections column. Hopefully that's now fixed. I can't tell because I'm exclusive. Perhaps someone with Photo+ files could let me know - thanks.
  • The script definitely didn't properly recognise files in the Value collection. Now it does. Because there isn't an official Value collection icon, I've repurposed the base photo canister to indicate Value collection files in the collections column:
    myUploads-16
  • There's a new Collection Analysis graph at the bottom of the my_uploads pages:
    myUploads-17
  • Finally, sometimes a list of 20 files just isn't enough. At the bottom of the my_uploads page you'll find a "Load More" button
    myUploads-18
which will load the next page of files so that there are now 40 files in the table. Or 60, 80, etc., if you click it again. (NB: this only applies to the Regular Sales page for now). The analysis graphs at the foot of the page will update to report on all 40/60/80/etc. files. Please be aware that if the details for your files change at the istock side between loading the my_uploads page and going on to load larger datasets into the table (for example, because you uploaded new files, or you had sales, or you had deactivations, etc., etc.) then the details for the newly loaded 20 files will not be in sync with the details for the previously loaded files.

v1.0.19: 3 April 2013
When you click on the red downloads button by the Last DL column to fetch all the recent sales for the files on that page, the script will now calculate the total downloads and royalty earned by those files for the last few days and display those totals in a table.
myUploads-19
There's also a new setting that lets you change the number of days for which totals are calculated and displayed. It defaults to 3 days, but you can wind it up to 10 days or down to 1. Or you can switch it off altogether if you're not interested in seeing that table.

v1.0.20: 10 April 2013
Dealing with failed uploads is, frankly, a bit rubbish. To be polite. So I've made another change to the script which makes some adjustments to the xnet page.
Rather than any unfinished uploads being tucked away out of sight at the bottom of the page like an afterthought:
myUploads-20
it moves them to the top of the page, makes them really obvious and - most importantly - adds a Cancel button.
myUploads-21
Clicking the cancel button does in one click the same as clicking the edit button then scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the Cancel this upload button.

v1.0.22: 11 April 2013
Calculates the RCs for your latest sale and reports it in the toolbar.
myUploads-22
Please note that it calculates the number of RCs you would earn if that file were to sell now. If the credit price has changed (or the collection it is in has changed, or your exclusive status has changed) since the file sold then this may not be the number of RCs that you actually earned from the sale.

If you don't want to see the earned RCs in your toolbar, you can switch this function off by unchecking the Show RCs for latest sale in the toolbar checkbox in the settings. It is ticked on by default.

v1.0.23: 15 April 2013
Includes RCs per day when calculating your daily totals.
myUploads-23
If you don't want RC totals to be calculated, you can untick the Calculate RC totals checkbox in the settings. This checkbox is ticked by default.

v1.1.0: 18 April 2013
This release fixes the bug with calculating RCs for videos.
Thumbnails for audio files should no longer be resized, since that's kinda useless.
There's now a loupe shown and thumbnails are resized for your Download History pages.
The script will now check every five minutes to see if you've had a sale. So you no longer need to refresh the page just to check for sales. When the script notices a sale it will update the Last DL details in your toolbar (if you've not turned that off) and update your displayed balance. The new balance will be shown in yellow, so that you know it's changed since the last refresh.
myUploads-25
In the settings you can change that 5 minute interval to between 5 minutes and an hour. Or, if you prefer, you can set it to never check for new sales except when you manually refresh the page.
myUploads-26
There's also a checkbox you can tick to have your browser play an audible notification when you have a new sale. By default the checkbox is unticked. That is, you won't get an audible notification unless you choose to turn it on.
And you know that really annoying thing where you've just written a long, eloquent, witty and brilliant forum post only to find, when you click to post it, that you've been logged out and your post is lost? If the check for new sales notices that you've been logged out, it'll let you know.
myUploads-24
Maybe that'll save just the occasional bit of grief.

v1.1.5: 30 May 2013
This release shows a selection of sort options when you mouse-over (some of) the link buttons so you can go directly to the appropriate page sorted the way you wanted with less clicking.

myUploads-31

myUploads-32

myUploads-33

v1.1.6 & v1.1.9: 14 June 2013
Option to sort DLs by ApprovalDate.
Fixes for file collection changes.
myUploads-34
myUploads-35

v1.1.12: 20 June 2013
This release changes the way it determines your current balance.
Also this release also displays, and allows you to manage, any unfinished uploads on the first page of My Uploads.
You can turn this behaviour off by unticking the Also show Unfinished Uploads on the My Uploads first page checkbox in the my uploads settings.
myUploads-41
Also, the script will now try to calculate the price the customer paid per credit for your most recent sale.
Once the number of RCs for your latest sale has been calculated and displayed, you can see more details when you mouseover the sale details. This will show you what the script calculates the price-per-credit to have been, what you earned in royalties per credit, and the royalty rate it thinks you're getting for this image.
myUploads-42
It can take a few minutes for the script to figure out your royalty rates the first time it tries to do this calculation. If the extra details don't show for you after you're updated to the latest version of the script, just wait a couple of minutes and refresh the page.

v1.1.15: 28 July 2013
This release watches for changes in views:
myUploads-44

v1.1.19: 24 October 2013
This fixes the things that stopped working with the latest changes to the iStock site.
It also adds one small new feature...small, but it's something that really bugged me! It used to be the case that, if you enabled large thumbnails on the my_uploads page, the vertical images would often be somewhat blurry due to them being zoomed beyond their natural size. This version of the script takes advantage of the new larger small thumbnails (or are they smaller large thumbnails?) that are coming to the search results page in future and replaces small small thumbnails with large small thumbnails for vertical images.
myUploads-45

v1.1.20: 25 October 2013
You can now see the top 4 keywords for a file (as per the keyword weighting system) on the My Uploads page. Just click the little W button and wait a moment for the words to appear.
myUploads-46

v1.1.21: 6 November 2013
This changes the collection indicator, because I thought my old one was ugly.
myUploads-48

Files that sold today have a slightly more emphatic date than less recent sales.
myUploads-47

There's a little red button by the Royalties column heading.
myUploads-49

If you click that it will show you both your royalty for regular iStock sales along with the total royalty, which can include things like PP or GI sales. If the two are different, there's a highlight on the total royalty.
myUploads-50

There's also an option in the settings which lets you say that you always want the script to load the total royalties. But you probably don't want to tick that option, even if you think it's something you want.

I can't get it to work for me in Safari on my Mac. I installed GreaseKit, which now appears in the menu, and removed NinjaKit.

When I click on the .js script it just loads the text rather than installing it as a script.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing this is to replace the old scripts that have now disappeared. Spooky.

Hmmm, had to go back and manually paste all the old scripts that I had luckily archived back into a reinstalled version of NinjaKit to get back to the functionality I had before.

You need a simpler solution for Mac / Safari users before disappearing the old stuff. I have no real idea what's going on with SIMBL installers, GreaseKit add ons etc.

Sorry if anyone is having trouble installing the script on any other browser but the OP makes no mention of supporting any browsers other than Chrome and Firefox. This is also spelled out fairly clearly here:iStock Browser Scripts, under the bit with the word Caution in large font.

Feel free to use whatever scripts have worked for you in the past, although some of them are unlikely to be maintained in future.

Sorry it didn't work for you. I don't think I've ever even touched a Mac, so it's not something I can help you with I'm afraid.

If anyone does have it working on a Mac that would be really interesting to hear about.

I mentioned GreaseKit because it's something I'd heard of. I'd never heard of Ninjakit before you brought it up, but it looks like it tries to do the same kind of thing...did you try installing my script in NinjaKit?
