I've made some minor tweaks to the script.

* Whilst checking whether you've had any new sales, the script will now show you the details of your previous sale rather than the text Loading..., which means it looks like the toolbar usually updates instantly.
* If your latest sale has ever had an Extended License sale, details of its most recent EL are also shown in the toolbar:
myUploads-14

If you installed the script from the Chrome store, you don't need to do anything! It will update itself automatically.

Otherwise you can update it from the same place you originally installed it:

Another minor tweak.

The script will now check to see if any Pending files have been locked for inspection when you click the red downloads button on the Last DL column.

Again, if you installed the script from the Chrome store, you don't need to do anything! It will update itself automatically.

Otherwise you can update it from the same place you originally installed it:

I've made some more tweaks. Some minor, some quite substantial. These (I hope!) will be the last changes for a while.
  • There's a new checkbox in the settings to say if you DON'T want to see the latest sale's most recent EL details in the toolbar.
  • I think that the script didn't properly recognise Photo+ files previously and just marked them as regular Photo files in the collections column. Hopefully that's now fixed. I can't tell because I'm exclusive. Perhaps someone with Photo+ files could let me know - thanks.
  • The script definitely didn't properly recognise files in the Value collection. Now it does. Because there isn't an official Value collection icon, I've repurposed the base photo canister to indicate Value collection files in the collections column:
    myUploads-16
  • There's a new Collection Analysis graph at the bottom of the my_uploads pages:
    myUploads-17
  • Finally, sometimes a list of 20 files just isn't enough. At the bottom of the my_uploads page you'll find a "Load More" button
    myUploads-18
which will load the next page of files so that there are now 40 files in the table. Or 60, 80, etc., if you click it again. (NB: this only applies to the Regular Sales page for now). The analysis graphs at the foot of the page will update to report on all 40/60/80/etc. files. Please be aware that if the details for your files change at the istock side between loading the my_uploads page and going on to load larger datasets into the table (for example, because you uploaded new files, or you had sales, or you had deactivations, etc., etc.) then the details for the newly loaded 20 files will not be in sync with the details for the previously loaded files.

Once again, if you installed the script from the Chrome store, you don't need to do anything! It will update itself automatically.

Otherwise you can update it from the same place you originally installed it:

These (I hope!) will be the last changes for a while.

Yeah, well that was true for nearly a day!

V1.0.19 is out. It has one new feature. When you click on the red downloads button by the Last DL column to fetch all the recent sales for the files on that page, the script will now calculate the total downloads and royalty earned by those files for the last few days and display those totals in a table.
myUploads-19

There's also a new setting that lets you change the number of days for which totals are calculated and displayed. It defaults to 3 days, but you can wind it up to 10 days or down to 1. Or you can switch it off altogether if you're not interested in seeing that table.

As you know by now, if you installed the script from the Chrome store, you don't need to do anything! It will update itself automatically.

Otherwise you can update it from the same place you originally installed it:
http://www.theasis.co.uk/iStock/theasis_myuploads_changes.user.js

Dealing with failed uploads is, frankly, a bit rubbish. To be polite. So I've made another change to the script which makes some adjustments to the xnet page.

Rather than any unfinished uploads being tucked away out of sight at the bottom of the page like an afterthought:

myUploads-20

it moves them to the top of the page, makes them really obvious and - most importantly - adds a Cancel button.

myUploads-21

Clicking the cancel button does in one click the same as clicking the edit button then scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the Cancel this upload button.

As ever, if you installed the script from the Chrome store, you don't need to do anything! It will update itself automatically.

Otherwise you can update it from the same place you originally installed it:

Great stuff, really appreciate your work on this.

I don't really understand the new totals table though. What is it actually adding up to get those figures? How come the total number of DLs don't add up to twenty if an images hasn't been downloaded more than once over the past few days? Sorry to be a bit thick, but if you could explain it in words of one syllable for a simpleton I'd be grateful!

I don't really understand the new totals table though. What is it actually adding up to get those figures?

I'll try to make it more clear rather than less clear. I may not succeed

What it does, for the 20 files visible, is add up how many times those 20 files sold on each day and how much those 20 files earned on each day. Then it shows you the totals for those 20 files for the 3 most recent days that any of them had sales. (Or however many days you've set it to show you if you've changed it from 3).

Let's say my_uploads is showing your last 20 files sold, they all sold today (10th April), and they all sold only once today. One of the twenty also sold yesterday. None of them sold on the 8th and four of them sold once each on the 7th and a fifth sold twice on the 7th. I'd expect the table to show you:

      10 Apr 2013     20 DLs    $xxx
       9 Apr 2013      1 DLs    $xxx
       7 Apr 2013      6 DLs    $xxx

Or let's say only one file has sold today, but it has sold three times today, and it also sold once yesterday and once on the 8th. And another file sold once yesterday and twice on the 8th. And the other 18 files on the page all sold on the 7th. I'd expect the table to show you:

      10 Apr 2013      3 DLs    $xxx
       9 Apr 2013      2 DLs    $xxx
       8 Apr 2013      3 DLs    $xxx

On the other hand, if you had 40 files sell once each today for a total royalty of $400 it is still only going to tell you that the 20 visible files had a total of 20 DLs for a total royalty of whatever those 20 sales brought in - which will be less than $400.
However if you first click the "Load More" button, so that the last 40 files to sell are visible, and then click the button to calculate the totals, I'd expect the table to tell you that you've had 40 DLs today and they earned $400.

Does that make sense, or have I just muddied the water?

If you installed from the Chrome store, ignore this - it doesn't affect you!

It looks like something I did in v1.0.20 made FireFox think that the new version of the script was an entirely new script rather than an upgrade.

So if the script seems to be doing everything twice, you need to disable the older version. That's easy to do. Click on the arrow next to the GreaseMonkey monkey head button:
myUploadsFF-1
Then select "Manage User Scripts..."
myUploadsFF-2
If you have more than one Modify the iStock my_uploads family... scripts listed just click the Remove (or Disable if you prefer!) button for the older one. The older one will have a version number lower than v1.0.20.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you - I thought I had done something horribly wrong, which is why I deleted my post saying I was getting various features twice! In the end, I disabled it then reinstalled it and all was well (that as before I saw this). It's a great script - I know I've said it before but I love it so much!

Nah - this is my mistake. But really, if I leave it possible to do something horribly wrong then that would be my mistake too
