Looking for guidance with logos

Seems there's recently been a new wave of editorial deactivations - I had two strong selling files deactivated, both with the reason 'Logo (isolated/main focus)'.

I'm not complaining about it, just wanting to learn what the rules are for future reference.


Here are the two files that got the chop:

In both cases, I can see that several files with similar subjects have been deactivated, and several are still available (when searching for 'Starbucks Cup' or 'McDonalds sign' and looking for similar files).


My understanding of the guidelines was that logos which are isolated, or are the only thing in the image, are no longer acceptable, but to me these files show a fair bit more than just the company logo.  Please could we get some more guidance about what's OK and what's not.  Thanks.
