Here is an interesting stat to show how these changes have impacted things here:

File 24600002 was uploaded on 21st May, 2013

File 2360000X was uploaded on 24th March, 2013, 58 days earlier

File 2260000X was uploaded on 18th December, 2012, 96 days earlier

File 2160000X was uploaded on 20th September, 2012, 89 days earlier

File 2060000X was uploaded on 14th June, 2012, 97 days earlier

And if you keep going back, the previous million files hovers around 90 days for quite a while.

Basically uploading speed has significantly increased from 1,000,000 every 90+ days to 1,000,000 file in the past 58 days, the last 500,000 has been uploaded in about 25 days.

It will be interesting to see how long this increase is sustained for.

Despite of what you're hoping, the review times have extended. Don't know if for everybody but I've been waiting for 3 weeks now and... nothing, huh! When I wrote to ask, they pretend there didn't see my question. Does anybody else experience this problem?

It appears that the inspectors are back to work and that they brought some friends with them.  Seems like photos are moving in the queue again at a more rapid pace...they are definitely working to catch up with the backlog.  YAY!  I seem to have had fewer rejections than what I normally would have.  Not complaining but it just feels odd.  LOL

This post is another way of seeing the statistic that dcdp published:

- in March 2013 the collection on average grew by 6'1xx files per day

- in April 2013 the collection on average grew by 7'0xx files per day (upload limits were removed in last week of April)

- in May 2013 the collection on average grew by 17'1xx files per day

I'm currently uploading my entire portfolio. I have a lot of images. I should hit the 999 limit fairly quickly. Will it reset itself then? Or will I have to wait a week.

Let us know when you get to 998.

Lobo:  I should be hitting that in another hour. I have 16,000 more to upload. I contacted support, and they said they cannot change it. Any possibility that you could change it. That way I can get done soon. One of the libraries close by has a T1/optical connection. I can upload 1000/hour.

The upload limits reset every week. If you want to upload to iStock, you'll need to restrict yourself to 999 a week. Sorry if that cramps your style. I'm sure you will have your portfolio uploaded very soon though.

The last million files has taken around 45 days. For the prior 10 million it was about 1 million files every 90-100 days.
