We are going to be closing some payment request tickets this morning from the weeks of April 15 and 22. These payment request tickets were paid BUT the tickets didn't close correctly so no email notifications were sent. So if you see an email pop into your inbox you can rest assured it's due to this.

This might explain the problem I'm having.  I have an open ticket that disappeared, however, the money never came into my Paypal account.  So I had recorded the amount in my checking account to hit approx. May 1, which would happen when I allow the 2 days for transfer from Paypal to my bank.  But again, the money never hit Paypal.  And the 'open ticket' has disappeared.  I just notified Support about it, but what is disconcerting is that if I wasn't the type of person to mark down the payment and expected the 'system' to have it recorded as an 'open ticket' right up until the point of it being paid, I might not have recalled anything about it!So the moral of the story is, when you make a payment request -- you must keep track of it yourself!  How many actually do that or think to do that?  On a positive note, I don't recall this ever happening before -- so hopefully it's not (or will not become) a recurrent issue.Istock might want to look into others this might have affected with the forced closed of open tickets that were presumably paid, but were not.  Not everyone keeps track of them -- particularly those of us who request payment weekly.

I have to tell you, if I was missing a payment I would contact support immediately. Please don't hesitate to open a Contact Ticket in the event you are missing a payment. We can easily accommodate you and make sure that you are paid immediately. Please don't rely on the forums for your payment inquiries. As the moderators aren't able to do anything about any of your payment related issues.

It's really important you appreciate that Contact Tickets are the best route to getting your issues resolved when it comes to payment inquiries. Had you opened a ticket the moment you noticed a missed payment we would have been able to resolve this within a few hours. I appreciate you might be of the opinion that the forums are a good enough vehicle in order to get the attention of Finance, but it isn't.

I managed to get this issue resolved for you this time but any future payment related concerns need to be addressed via Contact Tickets. You will find that it's quite a simple process and you won't be WTFing the forums half as much.

Thanks. I did contact support, twice. My last resort was posting here because my open ticket was deleted before it was resolved.
