i thought that was my mother sitting on the railings at the seaside, its not, but she did look like that

Great photographs. Evocative of an era. I can just remember the 50s as a small child, and the way I remember it is in black and white. It was like that somehow.

Imagine trying to take innocent child images like that nowadays - you would have the Law down on you before you could say 'perve' ...

Me too! - a very astute comment. I suppose it's not dificulut to understand why, but nevertheless......


@kbwillis     And in those days it was considered a compliment, if not an honor, to be photographed.


And as for the photos of the kids - universal mischief!. And those two nogood boyos have definitely skulduggery in mind. Or maybe this is a case of self identification.
