Boat and egret go opposite ways
Is this composition interesting enough as it plays with the directions the boat and the egret are going? I also felt it was nice that the atmosphere is somewhat bluish, while leaving plenty of space without being just blank space.
Am I mistaken here?

The composition doesn't bother my eye. I like the repetition of yellow in the bird's bill and the boat, it's got good copyspace, and the two elements are both very coastal. It's not likely to be a huge seller, but it's certainly not dead in the water, so to speak.

The bird is not quite in focus, probably the biggest weakness. Maybe a bit more downsizing and some very careful selective sharpening will get you in.
