I clicked to cash out this morning, but my bottom balance did not change. Thought I had made a mistake, so I went to try again and was given the alert that I didn't have enough in to cash out. Just thought I would make you aware of this bug.

I've received a mail sying that i've requested a payment of 65,01 $ and in my pfinancials profile I will see an account balance of -42,99 $
Obviously I have not rquested payment (only more than 100 $)

For anyone who has seen a lower payout than expected, or has seen that their balance has dropped, iStock HQ have recovered funds from a previous over payment.
Here's the initial thread:
And a clarification of things here:
Here's what happened:
Back on December 3rd 2012, iStock had an issue with Paypal that resulted in some contributors getting paid their requested earnings twice. This was spotted pretty quickly and an email was sent the same day to the affected accounts saying this:
"We have sent your PayPal payment twice in error. Please return the funds to us at your earliest convenience at email@example.com"
Most people just responded by returning the overpaid funds right away but some others did not. It is that over payment that has now been recovered from those who had not yet returned the money.

I'm just looking for the relevant thread now and will post it up asap.
Thats all well and good - but i specifically sent my last cashout as an outstanding payment from Decembers mix up and was told that this was acceptable via accounts and that they would just 'cash' my request earnings. Guess what i had an hour ago....the monies which accounts are supposed to take paid into my PayPal account. Surely the payment could just be reversed instead of cashing in any dollars left in the pot??? This is turning into a farce.

This has happened to me too, I didn't request payment of earnings and now my account is - $21
