I was sent this rejection notice:

This photograph would be more useful and better suited if uploaded to iStockphoto’s main RF creative collection. Please remove all logos and/or logotypes (if there are any) and submit as creative RF with model release(s) if there are recognizable people in the image.

I am confused.  There are no logos etc to remove and I have only a model release for the man doing yoga, not the Indian lady, hence why I submitted it as Ediorial.

Any input or advice for me?

Thanks, Christine

This is also a posed image, we do not accept posed shots in Editorial. The image has to be taken in a natural environment with people just doing what they do, without any guidance form the photographer.

Should I then re-submit it as RF creative, with only having the model release for the man?

Yes, I would crop the image or clone the person that you dont have a release for and submit as creative.

Well, I certainly will not be doing that!  Thanks for the advice anyways.

What you might consider doing is read both the editorial and creative manual to make sure you are following the guidelines to avoid rejections.

basics on editorial submissions.

here you can find more information on editorial

and

this is a starting point on model release information.
