I am new at iStock, did read a lot of tutorials about editorial photos. Anyway, I uploaded Grande Arche in La Defense district in Paris but was rejected even if I saw similar photos on iStock. My rejected photo - https://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/27147716/2/stock-photo-27147716-grande-arche-la-defense-paris.jpg
This file includes, as the main focus, content that may be subject to copyright protection. We regret that it cannot be licensed unreleased in our Editorial collection.
Is it rejected because it's only building in main focus or it should be photographed in more wider framing with other buildings and landscape included?
I don't get it at all, thanks a lot in advance!

Protected buildings can be tricky subjects. Protected buildings in France even more so. As with other such places though, a general shot of the area that includes the building may be acceptable, but just not as the main subject. This is similar to the London Eye or Empire State Building, as part of a wider composition, you should be ok. Obviously a lot depends on how wide and how much you focus on the protected building though.

Yeah, I get it now since it looked to me a little strange seeing similar photos but no problem, I'll manage something. Thanks for replying!
