Sorry, I also have been busy. The CT shoot was the weekend before Chessielypse and I finished the models' shots last Friday (they have been released to them this week). We left CT with model releases in hand so I plan to fully pp those files first for stock.

I had a wedding, fundraiser and barmitzvah the subsequent weeks after Chessielypse. I've been swamped.

Got my images submitted to Brian and have just started uploading pictures from Chessielypse in earnest.

I learned a lot from the event.  One of the things I'm noticing when going through the Chessielypse lightbox is how each of us see the same scene differently, captured it differently and with our own style.  A good example of this is the images of Lorraine  on the Ducati motorcycle.  My images of her on the bike look different than the two already uploaded and those two look different than each other as well.  Each of them are different, while we were all basically standing in a group together taking shots of the exact same scene.

Of course, there are some shots which several of us took that are pretty familiar.  I did notice that I wasn't the only one drawn to take a picture of the upside down wineglasses at the bar.  There are three or four shots of them in the lightbox and I think each one is by a different person.

I also learned some stuff by looking at my images after the fact and wishing there was something a little different about them.  I remember Nan mentioning how much of a perfectionist she is when she was rearranging things to take a shot of someone's dinner the first night.  Looking at some of my images, I wish I would have looked at what was in the scene before I shot the picture and removed or rearranged things a bit so it would have been a cleaner image.  There are several good images that could have been great images if I had taken the time to move something out of the scene.

It will be interesting to see how our images compare as we start to upload the ones with models in them.

I hope to have my stuff done and off to Brian by the end of next week.  <SIGH>  Hoped to have it done sooner, but life happens.

Bonnie, I would love one of those buttons!

Keith, I think this is one of the most interesting aspects of going to an Istock event.  People see the same things and record it differently and afterwards we all get to compare notes   I think I can see personality coming through in what images people choose to take and post.  Having met everyone, its a real joy to see their images and match it to their personality.

Look forward to your pics

Interesting comments, Keith and Jim...how we see the same thing in different ways and how it ties in with our personality.

I'm afraid anyone looking at my portfolio will suspect multiple-personalities. lol

Joe, do I have your address? If I do, I can't find it. Sitemail me so I can send "believe" button to you.
