Okay maybe this has been suggested ad naseum, but it just struck me and a search of Creative Network brings up a bunch of posts unrealted to what I am about to suggest. So, in advance, I am apologizing if this has already been mentioned.

It would be nice to be able to have in our management system a way to "group" our contacts.

Like under categories such as:
Friends
Clients
Local iStockers
Artists I Want To Buy 2 of Everything In Their Portfolio
People I Want To Suck Up To

Whatever... you get the idea. This way you could select from a single group and send out announcments to selective people within a certain group if you wanted to, without spamming the rest of your network.

That's a great idea. I'd love to be able to sort my list according to where they live, so I would stop accidentally inviting Australians out for a drink and/or shoot in Toronto.

I really like this idea. Grouping under topics would sure save me some time when I am searching for a particular member.

I would love to see this feature!  I would like to be able to create my own group names like folders are now.  I would like be able to add people to multiple groups as well.

Me too! Yes, being able to creat your own sorting group/folfer thingies like the same thing that we can do now with our Sitemail.

And yes yes, exactly... being able to add one person to multiple "groups" if they fit.

From a functional standpoint, having a group of Minilypse Attendees would have been VERY helpful over the past month and into next month. I sitemail the same group over and over again. Usually I go into my Sent Mail, find one of the previous sitemails to that group, and "Reply All". That's kinda cumbersome. Definitely multiple groups would be important, as I've never been to a mini'lypse that didn't have attendees from other mini'lypses.

Can we revive this idea? I know the tech people are likely swamped, but this would be especially useful for people who are using their CNs to help with keywords -- to be able to sort your people into various groups would be incredibly helpful for this task.

Ethan, is this why you keep appearing at mini'lypses in the Northwest?

Great idea Kelly, this would be a great feature. Not only would it help  with organization for us individuals, but it might help cut down unnecessary site mails that clutter inboxes.

Kel, I suggested this one a long time ago and would like to see it revived too but the groupings should only be visible to the user and not public.

I wouldn't have very many peeps under "food goddess" and don't plan on creating animosity here.

The idea is great ... I was trying to figure this out the other day.  I would like to be able to send e-mails to my Chapped Lypse friends.  No way to do it.
