In case you need some small Greek churches to help illustrate your theme, the link below points to a few in my collection.

It's really difficult so determine success, as some of the guys mentioned define success is it wealth or spiritual explain.
Wealth is easy the first photo of some money will do the trick but the spirit is much more demanding to capture, maybe a full congregation, maybe a shot from the back of the chuch with the pastor or whatever you're soothing facing you... The images of groups praying doesn't cut it for me if you think about the objective of success though they may be successful in their own way....
Really difficult one. Good luck and lemme know if you like what you came up with.

How about a photogrpah of a child or old person hand lets say thumb & index finger holding a coin... you could also maybe to encapsulate the religion part of the mood by placing a cross lets say around the wrist or something like that...

Maybe you should go back to the seminar speaker(s) or churches involved and ask them what they will be presenting as 'success'. I'm sure they'll let you see their notes
I don't think it has much to do with money unless you're at a church that just wants to make money

I made a similar suggestion shortly after this request was posted. It doesn't look like the requestor has ever returned?? It's impossible to offer useful feedback without more information. It's just a shot in the dark. I'm sure we'd all love a bit more direction.

I'm designing a brochure for a seminar called "what is success in a small church" i'm hitting a wall trying to find a photo or graphic that embodies that theme. any help would be awesome. thanks.
Well, I don't have an image myself but my immediate thought on this topic is to have a shot of a full or nearly full congregation. That signifies success of that particular church anyway. Nothing more depressing than to see a beautiful church with a congregation that looks lost within.
