I am trying to help someone who wants to edit photos in Fireworks, but the files are all Adobe RGB (and Fireworks is not displaying them properly). Can Fireworks deal with images in color spaces other than sRGB?

I've looked to Fireworks' help file and googled a bit, but I'm coming up empty. Anyone know?

i know for a fact Macromedia will only work with sRGB in flash. I am sure it's the same for Fireworks.
I think their rationale was at the time...most web browsers use the sRGB color space as a default.

Thanks, that's what I suspected.
