Posted Sat Mar 3, 2007 1:54AM | For the last 3 months, I've sold at least one pic every day - except for Saturdays. The last 3 consecutive ones have drawn a blank. Hope today is different but is that what many people find? |

Historically, Saturdays have been a no-download day for me too - but that seems to have changed in Jan and Feb this year. These two months have also been my best ever in terms of downloads and royalties, with Feb being substantially better than Jan which, itself, was a great month.
I always wondered why I'd get no downloads on a Saturday, but get loads on a Sunday - for myself, if I have to work at the weekend, I'm much more likely to do it on the Saturday than the Sunday.

Saturday is saturday for all. But before ends the sunday in the american time, yet is monday in other parts of the world. |

Ah! Of course! I always thought my concept of time was flawed.

Would that work for New Zealand and Australia too? |

Fixed it! Helps if you spell 'quote' correctly!

I guess so - as most downloads are apparently from the US.
However, I have as much difficulty working out how many hours another country is ahead or behind the UK, as I do in telling left from right. No matter how many times I've tried to learn it, it goes in one ear and out the other. Really, I'm a basket case. |

Yes Australia is ahead of the US , Sunday in US is Monday in Australia and New Zealand |
Posted Sat Mar 3, 2007 5:57AM | Hawaii and Alaska is pretty close to the last guy in the previous day in the world time zone, and NZ is just about the first guy in the next day.

And it pains me to report that this Saturday proved to be no exception :-( |

Some people have a nasty habit of not working on the weekend... |
Posted Sun Mar 4, 2007 7:40AM | I came on site at just after noon today (Sunday) UK time and had had a download since about 0100GMT. That's a first, though I've had some late on Sun night, which I've assumed, without valid reason, to be Antipodean. still, never on a UK Saturday. I tend to think designers must sneak off to the beach on Friday around lunchtime. :-P |
Posted Sun Mar 4, 2007 7:58AM | I'm going to work in about an hour.. And I plan to dl a couple ..
But this is only cause I decided not to work on friday.. catch up time. |

Just sold an image on Saturday and one on Sunday!
The end of my third week as an iStocker and my accepted files are running at roughly 50% (a shade lower) and DL's about one a day.
I think I'm hooked |

I think I'm hooked You're doing well - it took me about a month to get even one download! |
Posted Mon Mar 5, 2007 6:08AM | Saturdays and Sundays average a lower DL rate for me than the other five days of the week, but I have had as many as four DLs each on a Saturday and a Sunday before. |
