I remember when I first joined, I spent lots of time browsing people's portfolios and looking at their numbers. I'd never heard of Lise, but one day one of her new shots caught my eye, so I clicked on her profile. When I saw the number of downloads (it was probably a little over 100,000 at the time), I couldn't believe it. Just couldn't believe it.

Funny - "gagner" in French is to earn or gain.

I joined istock because of lise. Some years ago I was looking for stock images and I discovered istock, and lise images made me join the site. Hers were the first images I donwloaded. They are really amazing.

Utterly extraordinary. I'm not sure I'd have been able to believe the stat's if I hadn't witnessed them myself over the last couple of years. Well done indeed Lise!

Bruce was interviewed recently, and for some bizarre reason mentioned me along with Lise and Diane as particular examples for success on iStock - and I felt shivers just from being included among two incredible photographers, out of the immense number of success stories here. while Bruce is the keystone of iStock, Lise is the lodestone of our little venture here. She exemplifies everything many of us here aspire to be in so many ways, and yet remains a humble and sweet person.

Congrats, Lise, we'll throw you a huge party for 1 million, I promise!

i'm very happy for you lise!, is a milestone! the great thing about lise is that she works harder everyday to become better, and all this being one of the most helpfull, humble and down to earth person around ... keep it up!

I've known Lise and her work since she joined the site.

If anyone epitomizes the promise which iStockphoto holds for aspiring photographers, it is her. In the early days, she struggled to perfect her craft, and I can recall explaining technical issues and helping her understand how to get images accepted (yes, once upon a time, I rejected images by Lise Gagné!). Over the years, I watched her work improve dramatically, and when she joined the Inspection team, it wasn't long before she was teaching me.

Lise, your relentless pursuit of excellence is an example for each one of us at iStock, and your passion for photography and for this place are a daily inspiration.

It's a pleasure to continue learning and working with you.
