The Summer Breeze is bringing a change in upload limits for all contributors today. Here they are:

Upload limits for non-exclusive contributors:

Base: 25
Bronze: 30
Silver: 35
Gold : 40
Diamond: 45

Upload limits for exclusive contributors:

Bronze: 75
Silver: 100
Gold: 150
Diamond: 200

As usual, preferred inspection for exclusive contributors remains a priority.

Just to add my customary argumentative tone, why not keep the limits as they were and give the inspectors time to check the keywords as well as the image quality, as this is at the heart of most of the search problems.

Last time I checked(2 seconds ago), there was a keyword rejection and it was being used by the inspection team. As the team grows so will the number of files that are inspected per day and with that limits will increase.

I am not available to debate badly keyworded or DA's files in this thread. Its boring and rather annoying that every time the team works hard to give something back to the contributers (in the form of increased limits this time), they get shot down.

We are all working hard and doing the best job we can to ensure that the standards are upheld and maintained, this is a human process.

It's hardly being "shot down" for someone to point out that extra time devoted to making sure the keyword inspections are more thorough would result in improved search results. That's just a fact.

Nobody said anything about you all not doing your best, or was asking for anything superhuman.

We do reject for keywords. It's a sad fact that occasionally we must reject (with the possibility of resubmitting, of course) a perfectly good image simply because the terms applied were inaccurate, not disambiguated, or just plain wrong.

As always, if you see images that have been poorly tagged, please use the "Report Inaccurate Keywords" link. If that's too onerous, please feel free to sitemail me the image numbers, and I'll gladly do the wikiing for you.

Wow, that's something to squawk about! Thanks, iStock!  I only wish I had more editing time.  Shooting time, no, don't need that!  All too much fun!  It's the PP that slows me way down.  Yeah, wish I could sell some upload slots to those of you who are fast editors.  Oh, and if you come through Eastern Pennsylvania, I'll bake you a shoo-fly pie and I have a noisy parakeet you can take home with you!
