Upload percentage anomaly

My upload percentage according to istock is 61%, but when I calculate using the figures in istockroyalties.xls (accepted and rejected file totals) it works out at 72%. Any idea where the missing 11% is accounted for?


Formula I used was #accepted/(#accepted + #rejected)


 

What about resubmited photos?

i think the istockroyalties.xls file only calculates rejections with "No Resubmit".

Thats why you have a higher percentage than on istock's site. But someone would have to confirm this, because its only a guess, I am not 100% sure. It would make sense though.

My own calculations suggest that the acceptance percentages include resubmit rejections.   For example, if you have 5 photos in your portfolio and each of them were accepted after being initially rejected, your acceptance rate would be 50%.

Thanks. That explains it. I get more than a few resubmits as working on a small laptop screen, I often miss a logo here and there!
