I finally got my new networked hard drive working Friday afternoon, so I spent time Friday evening finding images I'd forgotten about from my early days here when I had a 20/week limit. Ten "forgotten ones" uploaded Friday.
Nothing this weekend...I had to work.
I can't imagine I'll ever be productive enough to fill up my normal 75/week slots with quality shots.

Well if you find the formula for 'quality shots' please let me know as I'm no judge!
I find that the inspectors decide on the technical quality and the buyers decide on the image quality. I have just checked my top 10 sellers and I personally wouldn't rate more than 3 of them as good photos.
So my philosophy is to upload as many photos as I find 'acceptable' and let the process go from there. I think there's quite a bit of mystique about 'quality shots' |

Wow, I don't feel so bad now, I uploaded 6.
4 accepted, 1 rejected, and 1 in Q.
But I made the effort specifically for the 'Upload Weekend'.

No need to hurry... I got only 4 processed and uploaded this weekend. And that's maybe my average, I guess.
I wished they could all be accepted!

21 and 18 approved. Absolutely great work from the inspectors and thumbs up.
@ivar: Hi my friend and cn-member. Specially for you it´s an absolutely amazing job. Punctum Day inspection and uploading over 2.500 images (1839 said JJRD). Have you booked special hours for a day?
Thanks a lot istock, great job!

Posted Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:03AM | I've got about 1000 photos from Rome, Scotland & Wales to sift through. But I uploaded....
Zero!
because I'm still 3 days away from my own pc and Photoshop (Elements). Oh well, at least I'll have more time to go through them and ensure my approval rate doesn't drop through hasty uploads. |
           Posted Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:03AM | I'm pretty sure ivar was kidding |
Posted Mon Aug 20, 2007 10:10AM | This was a surprise to me. I did not know that we had unlimited uploads over the weekend. That is a shame. I need to be more informed I will work on that however I did manage to upload all of 4 images
I do believe the point of the exercise is to have utilized the unlimited amount of images that we could possibly have in our portfolios today.
If I am wrong please let me know.
I would humbly stand corrected |
