I'm not able to add keywords to any file, an error show up saying I don't have a connection anymore, receiving unexpected error.

I can't upload new images either. Activity status shows "Waiting" for ever!

I just got reported that the iStock API (the iStock servers which DeepMeta uses to exchange data with the site) will be down for maintenance.

It's probably best to hold off uploading for now ...

OK, things appear to be back to normal now ...

Not for me. I am trying to add a keyword to a file then upload it and I keep getting the following error:

Error occurred: Error: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.

Any idea what's up and when I can complete my tasks?

I just got reported that the iStock API (the iStock servers which DeepMeta uses to exchange data with the site) will be down for maintenance until about 4PM MST, due to potential performance issues.

It's best to hold off uploading until after this period ...

Thanks. That probably explains why none of my iStock apps are working either.

Can't upload here. DeepMeta keeps retrying and then putting the files back in the LH column before moving on to the next.

What error message is shown for those files in the History panel at the bottom?

/Hi Franky. Thanks for the reply.

Had to fire it up and run it again until the three retries had occured. No messages at the bottom at all, with files either side selected. Unless the message just comes when the file fails? In which case i haven't seen it.

ETA I've just watched it go through the three retries cycle. No message at all.

Just found out that it was my setup this end. Everything else seemed OK, but I was having speed issues with some sites, not just here.

Reset the router and DeepMeta is working OK now.

Franky - I just updated several new images (accepted today in the last hour or so) on my DM database with links to other files and lightboxes. No suggestion anything wrong on the DM end when I did F6 update. And no suggestion of any errors at iStock that I could see. But the updates aren't showing after refreshing the image several times on iStock. One example is image #21416223.

Same here, did a lot of lightboxing yesterday, but none of the changes show up on the site. I just tried one today and it seems to work now.
Is there a way to "reupload" the changes without changing something in the description of every file? The checkboxes under "changed" have disappeared.

Franky, do you have any inside info on whether image page views are being recorded properly? If I believe what DM is retrieving then I've had no views on any of the first 4000 images in my portfolio since yesterday. I'd hate to think that's a true reflection, since a normal overnight F5 would record from 300–600 views. (This particular F5 is still running as I type this.)

I have no overnight downloads to test this lack of data. Is this another symptom caused by the week's update?

amriphoto, if you sort your portfolio by image number then all your recent uploads will be together. If you open each one, add a space and then delete it, does that trigger a Change?

So perhaps this was a temporary issue yesterday.

Just select the files you want to update in DeepMeta (or Ctrl-A) to select all. Then right-click on any of them and select "Send file data to iStockphoto". That will force an update to iStock for those files. You can try it first on a few files if you like.
