Do we still need to upload DeepMeta file changes twice or is it just a delay with iStock and we need to wait a bit?

I don't know, but the latest beta version of DeepMeta automatically sends the updates twice anyway, which makes this a non-issue (if you're using that version of course).

This is odd.  Everything I uploaded on the 10th is now missing from DeepMeta.  They are showing on iStock.   I'm fetching all data now to see if it corrects itself.

After update, they are all there.

Hi Franky - not sure if I have the latest update, but I will check. What I am finding as I started to work on Editorial submissions is that there is no place for title, description or linnk. There is a box with "Options, that doesn't seem to do anything. I can see one of my three lightbox links in the preview window. I am pretty certain the code was correct because I had been using it all day yesterday, but I could have made a mistake.

Anyway - there seems to be no way to enter anything un General. It was fine just a day or so ago.

Is anyone else having the above problem? I DL'ed the Beta version, but it seems no different that the previous and there is still no place to put title and description and lightbox links. I'm sitting on a bunch of images I want to get up.

Hi Franky,

A fellow contributor asked about keyword outsourcing and I forwarded him here. But I am interested too: if the keyworder is someone else, how does the whole thing work. Should I upload through the site in unfinished state and then he would hit F5 in his DM version if he does only the keywording?

Hy Franky, here I go with the W#... Not sure if it was requested befor as a plus feature, not the main function for DM/iStock, but...

W#...
it would be cool if at Releases tab or the image with releases selected, I had the option "Export release", so all selected releases would be exported as a single JPG.

I have looked into the C:/Users/*myuser*/AppData/Roaming/Eazign/DeepMeta/Account-1/Assets/Releases and it seems that the latest version doesn't save the united jpg here.

I have an article on the credential encryption feature you could use. This allows another person (keyworder) to upload and keyword files on your behalf, without needing your iStock credentials. Let me know if this would solve your problem. Thanks.

Hi Lucato, your suggestions and thoughts are very welcome, as always

You can do what you described by selecting the required releases in the list, right click, and then "View stitched releases in web browser". In your web browser, you can "save as ..." a file if you like. Something like that?

Thanks for the link. It is not an actual problem. I just need to know how it works if the keyworder is not supposed to upload the image but only to describe it, i.e. no to have access to the full size JPG. Is that possible at all?

Ops, I didn't notice that, my fault.
Thanks a lot for the tip. Maybe I was hoping to see something like "Save the merged releases from your browser" or "Save/view the joined releases from your browser". :0)

Hi Franky, not sure if it was reported before, but it seems a bug...

When fetching (F5), it isn't updating the files data on the column ('Coll.' - collection) that I added as Photo+, but if I fetch one by one, they bring such data and add the camera icon into DM.

iStock don't provide collection data when you do a standard F5 fetch - it needs a full data fetch (or pull each image at a time, as you found).
Unfortunately there's nothing DM can do about that.

^ Thanks Theasis for the reply. Have a nice week. I thought that the standart F5 and pull each image was the same. I mean, just that standart F5 do "each pull" as a batch.

^ Just adding, just tested and by selecting multiple files, and right-click and using the "Fetch from istock" worked too.

Hi,

Editorial photo uploads fail when the country input is set to "Korea" in Deepmeta.  Perhaps iStock is expecting an input of "Korea, Republic of" or the numerical country value (113) is off?

The error message is: Error 4302 - The country name provided is invalid

It's been several months since I submitted this issue on Deepmeta by form mail but I've heard nothing back.

Thanks for your attention and happy holidays!

Franky put out a fix for this back in October (I think) in the beta releases of version 1.6. Are you running the very latest version? Maybe you're still on 1.5?

The 1.6 Beta releases are down at the bottom of the Downloads page.
