Anyone else having problems with it ... for those of you who do have enough files to view it, that is?  It's giving me this when I click on the link from my profile page:

Unfortunately, you do not yet have enough downloads on which to base an accurate projection.

It's giving me the same message right now. I know it was working last week...

Yep, it's not working here.  Same message.

So is that thing accurate?

You mean when it's working?  No, not really.  If a person's sales increased the exact same proportion each month then it might be close, but I just like to look at it for fun ... I like to try to "beat" it each month.  I guess it gives me hope!

Well, yes, that's what I meant.  It's a marketing tool to get contributors' hope up.  But many (or most) do not "track" according to that basic linear function.  It's IMHO pretty useless.  I'd even forgotten it totally til you brought it up.

It's an estimator which, I think, is helpful and gives folks an idea of the trajectory they are on.  Of course, it assumes that you keep shooting and uploading good work - something MANY if not MOST contributors do not do,  In that case, it is useless but not because its algorithm is only a marketing tool.
