Just wondering what's caused the inspection queue to come to a virtual halt even for exclusives. Is it down to increased volume of uploads or some other reason?

I stopped inspecting for a time last week due to a severe head cold - it is amazing how phlegm on a computer screen looks just like the overuse of Neat image

I presume it's caused by everyone uploading their fall, xmas and even late summer images.Same thing happened last year and the year before in November... I think my last submission was inspected in about 36 hours. That was a few days ago, so no complaints here

The other thing to keep in mind is that there are now more Exclusives with the drop in DLs to qualify. More people competing for the dedicated Exclusive inspectors. I would assume the Admins are looking at the number of dedicated Exclusive inspectors given the influx of new Exclusives...

The inspectors seem to be inspecting. I submitted two great shots yesterday - both in good focus and both with good lighting. Sadly, both got rejected.

Pending executive is a totally different queue where they send all the naughty files. Usually these files need a second opinion relating to a logo or other copyright issues. Expect to wait for 3-4 weeks to get an answer.

I have had one in the Queue 10 Days now! (29/10/07), anyone know what is happening?, it says 7 Days oldest in Queue!

The 'oldest in queue' figure is just an average based on total waiting and numbers inspected.


There are always going to be older images waiting - some of mine have now been 6 days in the queue whereas newer ones of mine (40,000 numbers newer) have been passed.


It's just the way it goes.

Quite a few people are working on ''addressing the future'' at the moment (more soon about that, nothing to be afraid of, all about growing and managing that growth), hence explaining the Q getting a little high at this very time.

With that said, you can expect that the numbers will go down soon... as a blitz is in the works in order to take a bite out of the Q over the next two weeks.
