I am finding older ones are selling.

This is the age distribution graph from last month

It does seem new stuff is falling off a cliff!

Anyone noticed a strong preference to new images? I'm selling a lot of images uploaded between a week and month ago. I like that, but I am quite concerned about not getting any downloads from my best sellers in e+.

Hmmm not especially. However E+ has been lower in the BM for at least a month. BM appears to be back where it was before they gave E+ a boost back in the spring, to be honest the BM is just right for me! I should be posting BWEs on the stats

^ ?? Alasdair, does that mean you are getting a BWE?  Or do you think the BM is what you would like but you just aren't getting the sales you hope for/expect?

I sell mostly new and very old images. But almost no sales from the best sellers - probably because of e+ :S

BWE!!!?? Ha ha ha ha - No!

No just that the BM appears, when I look at it to be favouring my best sellers, and my port looks similar to the heady days of March which was my best month ever. September in previous years has broken sales records for me, so I assuming that if not for the current site troubles, it would do so again.

I have a mystery of about $37. Gotta love when your balance goes up that much and you have no idea why... I really wish it wasn't a mystery though and I really wish my post in the help forum wasn't deleted! Sorry just a little monday morning rant!

ETA: I was able to find my mystery sales with the new Stats Plus app. I had 2 E+ downloads at $21.20 each - very nice!

^ OOT? Isn't that "Out Of Touch?"

I assume you're talking about the new lens? I wouldn't mind seeing a full rez version of one of those in all their 40Mp glory!

Yes the 25mm - awesome lens. I love the more dynamic feel it gives to just about any image compared with a standard lens. A very strong incentive to get back into landscape photography too.

I'm hoping to lose a bit of weight as well, but that in itself isn't quite enough motivation to give up the wine.

Beautiful Christina. I am just happy to have my 24-105 back from repair, not cheap but this time it seems to work. Perhapes not the worlds best lens but very handy for my type of spontaneous shots.

Also got my new inversion heater installed yesterday. Very nice to have an easy way to heat the house now winter is definitely approaching. Will have to empty the greenhouse and save the last tomatoes to ripe indoors before the first frost.

I was trying to get some shots of the Draconids yesterday. The outlook was only 10 shooting stars per hour, but last year it surprised everyone with 600, so we went to a dark place and tried our luck. There were some see through clouds there and we were shooting for almost 2 hours, almost froze (we went to a mountain pass) and there was not much of a show. I saw one really bright and long, but it was on the other part of the sky and didn't catch it on the camera. I did manage to get one quite bright one on the image, although I didn't see it live and I was quite happy with that. It was a good exposure test for December, I hope to make a really good image then. I will post an image in the afternoon, when I get back home.

Look forward to the result, tadej. It sounds very romantic. I'd rather shoot the Draconids on a mountain than building work all over Barcelona! I tried to get some landmark shots (without scaffolding) and below is one of the famous dragon/lizard in Gaudi's Park Guell - after I'd taken out all the tourists! I don't really understand city thinking - why exactly would people put turf down a pavement outside a hotel on a city centre street? And yes, I got the shot

Still warm here, Britta, but autumn mists gathering. Must get out at dawn, take the dog and shoot some landscapes. Son's visiting for a week so after he goes, should be able to do whatever I want.

With all the shots of Barcelona sights already on iStock some with scaffolding might even have a better chance. I think your on the other page was really catching.

I really need a new camera! just got a site mail from a buyer asking if I had a larger image of one of my pano's be bought. They are making it into a wall mural I guess and it needs to be 7500cm x 290 cm... my image doesn't even come close. If it was still summer I could have borrowed a camera big enough to handle that size output, but it's Autumn now and the look would be completely different. Oh well. I was happy that the buyer contacted me first before getting a refund.

Here's one image from yesterday. Nothing special, but I was happy to get one on the photo.
