I just found that my peacock shot is used as the front over of the new Photoshop Elements 11 for Photographers book smile

Good find Ant, and great photo. So, did you use Photoshop Elements 11 to process that shot?

That's the way Ant....best to focus on something positive I think.  I'm trying to ignore bad sales too (as bad as Christmas week right now) by challenging myself to shoot and upload as much as possible.  I've uploaded more this week than I had in the whole of the previous six months!

Horrible week of non-sales here. Very Christmas-like.

I wanted to post a shot I just had accepted. I haven't done any studio work for a long time, lack of motivation mostly. Sometimes I just need to take pictures though, it's what I do. I seriously didn't think this would get in, it was not easy to do and I expect that it is on the verge of what is acceptable here, a bit too artistic and abstract. But I really like it. Very yellow.

Nice work Jonathan. Must admit I had to check the image detail page to see what it was.

Me too. I had to check too, although I could see they were cod liver oil capsules.  Fantastic detail and it looks great!

Thank you!!! I love that you had to check to see what it was! That's like the opposite of what I have to do for my real job which is to make things look exactly the way they are, or better!

I had another render sell a couple of days ago. Very encouraging. No sales (of anything) since though.

Back from my 5 day trip to Myanmar. Very satiesfied, got a good guide and could see some "real life" villages, schools, markets, farms in addition to the more touristy things like all the temples. People very friendly and no problems taking pictures. Did not even try getting MR:s - might have been difficult to explain and I can understand people in a country like this reluctant to sign papers in a foreign language. Anyhow at present I don't feel like uploading released images. Buddism is very important in Myanmar. In the i million city of Mandalay only there are about 25000 monks.  The last day we were driving down from a day in the mountains (cold - temperature sank to 4°C ≈ 40°F in the night) when the guide discovered a process forming on a small village road close by.  It was boys and girls beeing taken to a monastry to become monks, amazing an colourful sight. Here is one picture (sun was very strong here in the middle of the day).

Glad the trip went well Britta, and I trust the backup camera performed well.
