I can't even get he garage door open.  It has a key entry for when the power goes off that hooks up to a wire to pull on, but the manual lever is jammed!

About Australian weather - I find it hugely ironic that a week after the hottest temperatures on record (national average) we are celebrating the discovery of a MASSIVE fossil fuel deposit in central Australia. Does anyone in this country have even half a brain?

Not that this has anything to do with Queensland weather....

Are you referring to the Oil Shale? Aside from being a fossil fuel, the environmental impacts of extract and processing it are significantly worse than conventional petroleum. Search for "oil shale environmental impact" if you want to look it up.

Just found my troll pic in a Microsoft ad.  There's a cute Child of the 90's video just below the troll.

I remember 'gonks'from the sixties, they were reinvented as 'trolls' 30 years later. What goes around comes around!

Just had a first for me a DL with 0 views. I am sure someone else mentioned it in the forum but still looks strange.

Anyone would think J-R was launching a book Incidentally Jonathan is to blame for the jacket - I was going to adapt the jacket from Book 1 and he told me how disappointing that would be... I'll let the photographers know I've used their images and I've credited them in the book.

Yes, it's out NOW! Stats; my 15th published book, the 3rd I've published since I've been hanging out here with you lot. There's a facebook launch party tomorrow - gatecrashers welcome. The idea is that you visit the Troubadours page, leave a message, drink a lot and do/say something that will embarrass you in the future. That is how parties usually work. Oh and you check out my new book too. Turn up here, any time, fancy dress optional, alcohol preferred. https://www.facebook.com/jeangilltroubadours

'Bladesong' is available in print here http://www.lulu.com/shop/jean-gill/bladesong/paperback/product-20658030.html and will be on amazon in print some time in March; all ebook formats here https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/278653 but also available now as amazon kindle.

Ok for some reason dropbox public link doesn't want to work. It's on the bbc homepage UK site. I use Hide My Ass web proxy to view the uk site, the  bbc global site is different. Jo should look, it's one of his shots in his nursery set with Dave.
