Hi All

I was wondering what everyones expirience with this lens is.  I got it around a year ago and wasn't too keen (so got myself a 28-70 2.8).  Today, however i was taking some pictures and was after some extreme close up and the 28-70 wasn't quite working for me (it wasn't focusing close enough) so I pinched my old lens back off my girlfriend.

I have to admit i was pleasently surprised with the results. This one is corrently in the queue.

If you are thinking of comparing the two lenses, it would help if you posted a little more about the 28-70, 2.8. Macro lenses tend to have smaller minimum focusing distances, though they will often sacrifice focus speed as well.

Hi Stickyworm

I wasn't really thinking of comparing the two lenses.  I was more wondering what others opinions on the 35-70 were.  The Nikon 28-70 2.8 is one of Nikons best, and I love it (it is a bit heavy but so what).
