I just received an artifacting rejection. I am having trouble spotting the artifacting. I can see texture on the laptop, which does look a bit like artifacting (but only a bit). What do you all think? I have uploaded the raw file for comparisson.
I would like to know what you think, after all I now have a rejection and a laptop full of coffee (just kidding, it was a staged shot).
Regards and thanks in advance Jo

I see maybe a bit in the handle of the cup, but nothing noticible. Aside from that though, you should have dusted off the computer. Shooting a keyboard this close just shows every speck of dust and it looks amateurish. Also, the screen looks grimy, but I'd also expect to see something on it, unless the coffee shorted something, and then I'd see some smoke.

Sean, thanks for your imput.
Do you think I should just go over the handle with a selective noise reduction brush?
Agreed on the keyboard, not a good enough cleaning job. The irony is I think the specks are bits of tissue from getting the worst of the dust off. (Ah you have seen though me I am an amateur, but getting better. I still remmember the justified cruxifiction I got from you for wrapping papper and mince pies )
The screen lcd was shattered. My ps is not good enough yet to put something on it or to include smoke and for it to look 100% natural. But again I like the idea, and would certainly add to the concept.
