Hmmm... try and send one of the samples that you are getting errors to onedeafear@istockphoto.com. One of us on the audio team will have a look at the files and see where the problem lies - with the file or our servers.

Just as a note of reference please feel free to correspond to the audio team at the onedeafear@istockphoto.com email. All of the audio inspectors have access to this account.

Be aware that even if it is a valid wave file .... it might contain some junk that can cause errors ..........please double check before upload .... to avoid frustrations .......if not happening ..the start all over .

Thanks Decard,

We have found that some applications add in extra information to their audio which is not in the simplest PCM Microsoft Wav Format. Some Pro-Tools rigs have this problem and other applications. In these cases use another application to convert to wav from wav this can deal with many problems.

Also,

We have found that some people behind certain ISP's corporate or personal firewalls are restricted in sending the wav file, if you are experiencing this problem try using another computer in another location to send your file.

Maybe it's a good idea to allow this extra info? Do I need some kind of free stuff to convert audio to "simplest PCM Microsoft Wav Format" and damage the sound instead of  working on PT system or any proaudio editor?

Could my ISP or firewall block only IS website? I doubt. My primary business is recording and mixing and I'm uploading wave files everyday without any problems.

I think you should rewrite your upload script.
