1) The sound of the Titanic hitting the iceberg

2) Neil Armstrong's boot stepping on the moon

3) The mating call of a Dodo bird

See if you can top those.

If you're a singer, then send in some singing. If you play an instrument, send in some instrumentals. If you hear any interesting sounds, record them. If you have a good speaking voice, record it. The purpose of the application samples is to see what you can do, both creatively and technically (probably mostly technically).

So go with what you can do best. I play keyboards, so I sent in 3 pieces just under 30 secs each that I recorded on a keyboard at the local music store -- a slow piano ballad, a faster, lilting piano piece, and a suspenseful minor key synthesized guitar/string plucking piece.

i make some ambient loops and samples , generate tones and combine them into cinematic sound , ...
those 3 where : 1 generated tone a deepbass vibrating ( seamless loop ) , 1 rhythmic theme at +/- 100 bpm 20 sec. ( also seamlessly looped , composed with all homemade samples ), and 1 sample : sounding like a race-vehicle from the pod-race in the 1st new starwars movie ( in- and out-fading - no panning ) homemade with generated tones + pitched down indoor samples of anything i could find ...
