I'm considering beginning a studio co-op near Dallas, Texas (acually about 35 miles south in Waxahachie) so if there are any local DFW iStockers out there who are looking for part-time use of studio space for a very low monthly rate, please contact me via email at - alternatively you can send iStock sitemail but I check regular email more often.  At this point the plan is to include several other artists with part of the space devoted to fine art gallery display and workspace for each with store front visibility in historic downtown Waxahachie.  Alternatively, if there is sufficient interest from other stock and commercial photographers in a co-op arrangement other sites without the store front requirement will be considered, possibly in the immediate Dallas area.

YOu might talk to Steve Kozak.  Here is his website.

He is a teacher for PPA and he is wanting to start a studio co-op also.  He dreams big and is wanting to make a nation wide list of studios that any photographer traveling through that area could rent.  I am sure you would enjoy talking to him.  He is a really motivated individual with a lot of ideas.  Good Luck with your venture.
