studio9400 vs. PinkTag

I challenge you to a Steel Cage Match! OK...I can't be afraid any longer. I've been wanting to get into the cage for a long time now so here we go! My creative network consist of 4 people (I know, sad) and guess which one signed up for the Cage!

COMPLETELY unsure if this is how to do this or not but I got a message back from PinkTag with a request for a rain check on our match. She is busy with ACTUAL work for the next week so she asked very nicely if we could try again later. She also said she was not very good with Photoshop.....I think she is just trying to get my confidence up! By the way PinkTag I have NEVER used Photoshop.

First let me say thanks Russ for this invite, but this match right now I must turn down, not because I am afraid of losing - I know that for a fact already - I have very limited "creative" skills with PS - but I would accept as it would force me to learn ihow to use it for more than processing images...lol, and quickly too, PLUS I love any type of challenge.
Right now though I am preparing to leave for Utah for a lypse and will be out of town for a few days, so there is no way, time-wise I can do this, but please, let's schedule a rematch and have a vector-ish cage match - even if I will embarrass myself totally

Nope, you accepted. You must fight on or get a DQ and blood drop. Fight PinkTag, Fight!

Newbies: you can uncheck cage battles in your profile. Also, you can ignore a challenge and it will go away and not give you any icons. If you officially turn the challenge down, you get a chicken head. If you accept like PinkTag, you must fight or face the blood

what happens now? Since we are not battling does this thread just expire? I'm curious because it says at the top "Battle in Progress".

If pinkTag doesn't post a blow, you win the battle by DQ

One of you should actually email: steelcage@istockphoto.com and let them know you started a battle on accident. That way it doesn't effect scores and such. BTW, if you're looking for a fight... I'm really itching.

again, I'm a newbie....does this go against her cage match record? Is she goiong to be stuck with a symbol next to her name because of the DQ? If so is the proper thing to do before challenging someone to find out if they want to or have time for a challenge?

Don't worry Russ - I don't mind if i end u p with a blood splat thingy or a chicken - it's perfectly fine with me. I will email though and see if they can change my (inadvertent) acceptance into a decline. Don't worry, I'm just sorry I can't play right now - I do want to, as that is one way I will force myself to get better with PS.

I just finished my first match in the cage myself...I highly recommend a silly ridiculous match to learn your way around the cage.

YES, I will fight another match, just have to wait till I get back from Utah (leave tomorrow for a lypse there, and there was just no way I could do this too). I will indeed wear my blood splat proudly, though I would have preferred it were pink of course....lol.


And thanks Kat - you are so sweet yourself and what incredible talent you ALL have, I am writing amongst the best here - WOW - you will just barf when you do finally see my attempts, but I will try and I will get better, and make you proud, and maybe one day whip your butt Russ - that's my Pink Smack talk...lol... about as bad as I get!
