I received the sitemail notifying me that the keywords on my photo of an isolated barbecue grill were changed today. There were many tags added and a few were (rightly) removed. However, I was confused especially by the addition of the tag Digitally Generated Image (Image Manipulation) because this is a photograph. Also, Coal (Fossil Fuel) and Wheel (Vehicle Part) were added, which I don't think is right. Do I just remove these (irrelevant) tags or do I have to keep them because they were approved by iStock?

Here is the image:

It is also frustrating that on a search for "barbecue" that the default results are Barbecue (Meal) because my image will not show up in these results, but I feel that it is equally likely that someone searching "barbecue" would want either a grill or food. Just my two cents...

Send an email to member "Keywords" with the file number and the suspect keywords.  Also, include the keywords you think should be added back in.  He will want to check which member of the Wiki team accepted those changes.  He will lose traceability back to the Wiki team member that made the changes if you change them before he has a chance to check the file.

It is not a meal, it is a BBQ. Someone looking for a BBQ will easily find your image.

Adding coal seems odd--maybe they meant charcoal, in contrast to a gas grill...?

No they won't - the OP is pointing out that the default result is for meals, and at present the best way for the OP to get his picture noticed is to spam that option, as others have, As many have stated before me, the solution is to turn off the defaults, or to turn them all on and let the buyer choose from the categories presented (as with ebay).
