No, it is there.

I remember that I had some others earlier in the month and they also did not show up on the phone app.  I remember noticing it then because the phone RCs were so off from what I actually received.  I got two in one day.

Prior to today, last one I had was one on the 13th and phone record only goes back to 14th or I'd check for sure what it showed.

Then for the moment, I'm baffled. I'm not sure at all what's going on there.

I'll give it some thought and see what possibilities I can come up with. Thanks for raising the issue!

I've just pushed v2.11.14 of LiveStock to Google Play.

There are a couple of minor bug fixes, none of which are terribly important.
The main change is a couple of new stats graphs showing you, over the course of a month or a year, how much you earned from cash sales and what percentage of your royalties came from cash versus credit sales.

Enjoy!

Is the app available for a Kindle Fire HD?

I just got one for my wife and she said it would be nice to have an istock app on it.  I don't particularly want to root it on the first day she has it.

It's not available on the Amazon Appstore (I've no wish to jump through Amazon's hoops, I'm afraid). Whether or not that means it can't be installed on a Kindle I'm really not sure - Kindle tablets are totally outside of my experience.

I know that member asiseeit has had some success putting it on a Kindle, but whether it involved rooting, again, I don't know.

If you do go down the root-and-sideload path (or some clever not-rooting method) there's no problem with putting the app somewhere that you can download it. And I'm sure I'm not the only person who would be interested to know how you get on!

There's a bug when viewing stats for cash sales when filtered by lightbox (in that the filtering by lightbox doesn't work). I'm guessing that this is a combination that you'd pretty much never use so, although it's on the to-be-fixed list, it's a bug with a pretty low priority.

If it's actually causing you a lot of stress, let me know and I might push the priority up a bit.
Or I might suggest you go for therapy

I've just pushed LiveStock v2.11.16 to Google Play.

This release adds a new per-file performance graph: average views per day over the last year.

PLEASE NOTE that this will only show meaningful data for those files which have regular downloads!
iStock, of course, don't provide us with any historic information about views. However, LiveStock does make a note of the current number of views on a file whenever it sees a sale for that file. It's done that since the very first version of LiveStock, so if you've had LS installed on your phone for a long time, you should have plenty of useful data. If you've installed LS only recently, your data will be useless just now...but it'll get better as time goes on.

To see the views/day performance graph for a particular file:
- select that file from the Recent Downloads list, tap the thumbnail button (or the Sales Details icon in the action bar) to see the list of recent sales, select the Image Stats icon in the action bar, then Menu->File Views.

For example:
screen-2_11_15-1
this graph shows the views/day performance of an image I uploaded 5 months ago. Initially it had between 2.5 and 5 views per day, which fell to around 1 view per day, and is currently down at around 0.5 views per day (or, more realistically, one view every two days).

Where the graph shows as two lines, there were enough sales for some kind of useful data to show the range of views per day. Where the graph collapses down to a single point/line there aren't enough sales for very meaningful data. Where there's a single line at zero, there are so few sales there's nothing useful to tell you.

As always, it can take a little while for the new release to work its way through Google's servers before Google Play lets you know it's available for your device.

Enjoy!

I've downloaded the latest version and doesn't seem to work properly, sometimes it shows error "LiveStock connection failed" and 2 sec after that "Balance unchanged" (but I know that it's not true). When I turn off the program and on again, it works. Few hours later it shows the same error.

This is a strong suggestion that I should change the message

The important part is "LiveStock connection failed". It failed to talk to the istock servers. Either because your data connection wasn't solid enough or, as is unfortunately too common, the istock servers were unresponsive.
As a result, LiveStock doesn't go any further because it only scrapes your sales if it sees a change in your balance. If it can't talk to the servers, it can't see if your balance has changed. "Balance unchanged" is certainly misleading when it really means "Not seen a change in your balance".

I haven't had those problems before I've downloaded latest version.
About "Balance unchanged" issue: I know that balace is changing, because I compare it with istock site and I can see what was sold, but LiveStock doesn't show it, I can see this error instead.

Anyway I use your program every day - thanks for it, it's really helpful

I'm sure it's just a coincidence, because the networking code hasn't changed at all in quite a while.

You may be able to see what the underlying problem is, if you're interested. From the LiveStock main screen:
Menu->LiveStock Status->Menu->Error Log

I have lots of errors along the lines of:
503 - Service unavailable
Bad response 500
Connection refused
Connection timed out

All of which are istock server problems (or "timed out" could be a network problem).

If you have substantially different errors, it would definitely be worth posting them.

Anyway I use your program every day - thanks for it, it's really helpful :)

You're welcome

Just something I noticed, when files are deactivated, Livestock is reporting them as acceptances.  Not always, but sometimes.

That's a bit wacky!
LS doesn't do any interpretation of acceptances - there's an API call that simply says "tell me the 10 latest acceptances and rejections" and it shows you what istock reports.

I'm going to take a guess - is it relatively recent files that have been deactivated? If so, I'm going to bet that the istock end sees that the activation state has changed and it doesn't bother to check whether it's setting or unsetting the activation state. Which probably doesn't usually get noticed because it's not usually the most recent files which get deactivated.

I'll see if I can do a bit of investigation. Thanks for reporting it.

I've just pushed LiveStock v2.11.19 to Google Play. This release is a small collection of fairly minor things - don't feel you have to upgrade if none of these are things you care about.

Attempting to filter the Daily RCs and Monthly RCs stats pages by lightbox would cause a crash. That's fixed.

Also, you can now filter the Month Cash Sales and Year Cash Sales stats pages by lightbox.

And just as a cosmetic thing, the home screen widgets and the Recent Sales List now show thumbnails as square crops to make everything just a little neater.

As ever, it might takes some hours to make its way through the maze of Google Play servers.

Enjoy!

Sure. Square thumbs will be the default, but I'll add the old behaviour as an option in a future (probably the next) release.

I've just pushed LiveStock v2.11.22 to Google Play.

The main new feature is a screen to view recent uploads of contributors you like. I've been holding off releasing this in the hope that iStock would reintroduce the ability to rate files, but it seems like that's probably still some ways off. When they do add that ability back, I'll look into the possibility of rating other people's files from the Recent Uploads screen.

You get to the Recent Uploads screen via Menu->Recent Uploads. When you first go to this screen it'll be blank.
You can add contributors to watch by tapping on the Add User icon (the right-most icon in the Action bar) and typing in an istock contributor name. Contributors can be removed by tapping on the Manage Users icon (the middle icon in the Action bar) and tapping the delete button near a user's name.

When LiveStock next scrapes data from the iStock site it will look if there are any new acceptances by those users and display up to the ten most recent per user within the last two weeks on the Recent Uploads page.

screen-2_11_21-1

If you don't add any users to watch, there will be no extra network traffic. If you are watching some contributors but want to turn off monitoring of recent uploads temporarily, there's an option in the main preferences that you can un-check:
Menu->LiveStock Prefs->Updates->Auto Fetch Recent Uploads

There are also a number of smaller changes.

The squared thumbnails that I added in the last release are now applied to the Recent GI and PP lists also.
If you don't like the square thumbs, you can go back to the old uncropped thumbs via:
Menu->LiveStock Prefs->Display->Thumbnail Shape

LiveStock has always shown dates as YYYY-MM-DD. If you like, you can now change it to DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY.
Menu->LiveStock Prefs->Display->Date Format
I think I've caught all the important places where dates are shown. Let me know if I missed any!

As always, it will take a little while for the release to filter through Google Play.

Enjoy!

v2.11.23 of LiveStock has been released to Google Play.

This is just a small tweak to the Recent Uploads functionality. On the User Management screen there is now a little grey flag by each contributor's name. Tap that flag to indicate that you find that contributor interesting and you want to get notifications when there are new uploads from them. Tap the flag again to turn in back to grey and turn off notifications for that user.
