![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Sun Jan 27 9:50AM | I've just pushed LiveStock v2.11.24 to Google Play. There's just a couple of minor fixes in this release: - fixed a crash in the Recent Uploads User Management screen when you don't have any users to manage. Thanks to whomever sent in the crash report for this one. I always really appreciate the crash reports. - your chosen preferred date format is now applied to the home screen app widgets. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Sat Feb 2 10:07PM | Sorry, I can't found a description: what's mean a green background of the last sale details line? Thanks! |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Sun Feb 3 3:46AM | Posted By Krakozawr: what's mean a green background of the last sale details line? It just means that that sale was (very probably) a cash sale rather than a credits sale. |
![]() ![]() Posted Tue Feb 5 2:21AM | My balance stuck. The program shows me the last downloads, the day money and credits, but the total balance is not changing. Restarted two times, but no effect. Any hints? This is with smartphone Android 4.0.4 Thanks in advance. |

![]() ![]() Posted Tue Feb 5 3:35AM | Yes, on the site balance is updating. Maybe there is some connection with this problem above. I'll wait some more. Thanks. |

I'll wait some more. Thanks. If it's updating on the site it sounds more like a problem at the LiveStock end, unfortunately. Although it's hard to imagine what would prevent it updating your balance whilst allowing it to update sales. Maybe it's holding a lock on the database table that contains the balance. Although that seems unlikely. Hmmm... you could try killing and restarting LiveStock. Bring up the "recent apps" list, tap and hold the LiveStock entry, select "App info", then tap "Force stop". Then restart LS. Or just power the phone entirely off! (And on again |

I'm about to update JB 4.1 - yesterday it was released for my phone (still don't get it, but maybe will come very soon), then I'll factory reset my phone and reinstall LiveStock. Will let you know. Thanks again! |

That's very odd. When you refresh, do you get the little pop-up message saying "Balance unchanged"? Also, if you care to, it would be interesting to know if there are any unusual messages in the error log. From the LiveStock main screen: Menu->LiveStock Status->Menu->Error Log & scroll down to the bottom Any database-related errors would be interesting here. I'm about to update JB 4.1 Enjoy |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 5:49AM | Odd thing here. The last two times this one (18628046) sold - this morning just a few minutes ago, and the day before yesterday - I get two "line items" - both with exactly the same information - in LiveStock2. My_Uploads on iStock was/is correct both times - showing only one line for the one sale both times it sold. The image has only sold once each day. Any thoughts? (Galaxy Nexus - Android 4.1.1) |

(Galaxy Nexus - Android 4.1.1) First thought is, I'd like an ice cream. Did you move that file to E+ just recently? There's a long-standing bug where sales can appear twice if a file sells on the same day that it changes collection. If it didn't change collection recently, I need to come up with a new theory. (Also, I should fix that bug! But it's pretty rare and I'm lazy.) |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 7:36AM | Nope...it wouldn't appear to be the "just moved it to E+ today" bug. Sorry - it's been E+ for quite awhile. BUT, now that you've mentioned it, this double line in LiveStock2 thing has happened before - one time for sure that I can remember. A few months ago - and it very well might have been this same file. When it happened that first time it's quite possible I put it into E+ that day or the day before. I remember at least one file selling "instantly" after I had just put it into E+. So maybe it really is that same bug. Is it possible this bug travels along with a file - once the file first caught the bug - for the file's whole LiveStock2 lifetime? |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 10:42AM | I'll bet it's related somehow. That's good information - thanks for the extra details Ted. |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 11:23AM | Glad to try to help, Martin. The more I think about it, the more I think that is the same file this happened to before. Thanks for taking a look - I owe you an ice cream in any case. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 1:52PM | Posting this so soon after Ted's comment makes it look like I've been fixing Ted's bug. I've not I've just pushed v2.11.26 of LiveStock to Google Play. Only minor tweaks and fixes in this release. Tapping a Recent Uploads notification will now open straight to the Recent Uploads view rather than the main LiveStock view. There's a new preferences option to allow you to turn off the green background indicating cash sales (useful if it clashes with your purple and orange phone case!). You'll find this setting as a checkbox: Menu->LiveStock Prefs->Display->Indicate Cash Sales If you change the date on your phone to sometime in the future for a while then return it to the current time, LiveStock should no longer be confused. (I made LiveStock sit through many bad science fiction time-travel movies and it now believes it understands the problems of causality and the effects of eddies in the space-time continuum. Huzzah!) |
![]() ![]() Posted Wed Feb 6 3:00PM | No worries, the ice cream will keep just fine in the freezer. |
![]() ![]() Posted Thu Feb 7 2:26AM | Thank you! The last tweak about future date is right for me. Now my balance problem is gone. Thank you! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted Fri Feb 22 7:18AM | I've just pushed LiveStock v2.11.27 to Google Play. This allows LiveStock to be used as a lock-screen widget if you have a recent version of Android on your device (JellyBean 4.2, or anything more recent). The lock-screen widget shows the same information as the mid-sized (2x2) home-screen widget, that is: today's totals; current balance; total DLs; your most recent sale; and a refresh button to check for new sales. Handy if you have an obsessive/compulsive habit of unlocking your phone just to check your iStock sales. ![]() If you're using an older version of Android, or if you don't care about seeing sales and being able to refresh without unlocking your phone, it's fine to skip this update. As always, it can take some hours for a new release to propagate through Google's servers. Enjoy! |
