I really need a bunch of t-shirt models wearing blank t-shirts and posed in a way that I can photoshop my own tee designs onto their blank shirts. I am sure I am not the only person looking for this and the selection on istock is pretty slim.

Do you need colored t-shirts or just white? Any particular styles (crew-neck, v-neck, sleevless, long sleeve, etc)? Do you need male, female or both? Individual models or groups?

Additional question... is there a preference for waist-up vs. full-length shots? For full-length do you prefer jeans, khakis, shorts, skirts on women, etc.?

(nothing against anyone person - but it makes a difference)

What about race, age, gender. Or just a variety?

I'll be shooting someone today and can get a few "blank tshirt" shots. I'll post up the links once approved.

The "Plain Clothing for Visuals" lightbox probably has something that will interest you.

yep... and if anyone is shooting people in shirts and tops etc, please please please shoot the back view as well. fruit of the loom style polos in normal and skinny fit, plain tees (normal and skinny fit) sweaters, fleeces and hoodies especially needed from the rear view. I buy them at at least Large size and I'm pretty sure other people do by the looks of things. Big boobs nor huge muscles not really the best for visuals (nice flat uncreased surface works best) but male and females with nice smiles and short hair or tied back (keeps it off the clothing) casual poses with no fuss and nonsense and you'll get sales from this lightbox even if the BM results aren't in your favour

Thanks for the great advise! I will work on it in the next few days.

More details on what I am looking for ideally: Models 16-30 yrs old, male and female, preferably with a little bit of an alternative look but race not important.

These stock photos would be used to super impose t-shirt designs onto the shirts so I am looking for crew neck, short sleeved plain t-shirts, regular or skinny fit. Shot should be waist up. Shots would be straight on because if the model is at an angle it is harder to superimpose a design onto their shirt. I also concur with the comment about models with smaller boobs, it is harder to put a design over a larger bust.

Someting like this http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/lifestyle/teens/753360-young-woman-with-blank-white-shirt.php?id=753360 or this http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/concepts-and-ideas/7358219-blank-t-shirt.php?id=7358219 is great. Hammy funny pics like this http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/concepts-and-ideas/character-traits/1954987-muscle-boy.php?id=1954987 are awesome.

Photos like these would be great

What kind of bg? White or colored paper?
Posted Tue Dec 23, 2008 9:06AM
Backgrounds can be white (meaning I can superimpose one behind the model) or something urban would also be cool (a club, a brick wall, a graffiti covered wall, etc). A bedroom, living room, kitchen or bathroom would also probably be good.

Also a manequein or dress form (male and female) wearing t-shirts would be great. But not like this. The shirt on that manequin looks too baggy and messy.

A red one with long sleeves. The script can be easily removed.
