Problem with iMovie/QT export

I use iMovie & QuickTime for video export, I have upgraded it from version 7 / 7.55 to 8 / 7.6. I use exactly the same setup for video export as before (Motion JPEG A) but I always get some tiny lines which destroys the quality of the video, you can see details here:





There is export from the new version on the left and export from the old version on the right. I think there must be something wrong with the compression but I have checked all the settings many times and I can find anything different compare it to my previous settings. Dont you know what can cause the problem please??

looks like interlaced video artifacts. I'm only running version 7.2... so i might not have the best advice. But look inside "options" or something like that for a box to check that say's "de-interlace" or "two fields" or something like that. mess around with settings like that.

That's interlacing.  It shows up on a computer monitor but will be invisible on a TV screen.

But would it be accepted here on iStock ? Reason I ask because I have the same issues when using the DV/DVCpro Codec that is used for NTSC and PAL in Quicktime and get the same results .

I see it on my monitor with most all of my clips since day one here viewing with QT. I use Mjpeg-B. I've learned to just ignore it.
