Hey Franky. Just wondering if you ever managed to look at the code for putting the nice graphs in, like on the PC version?
It would save me loading up Parallels just to check my graphs. :)
Cheers.. Glyn.

Ah, those graphs. I'm afraid they're still on the waiting list; sorry about that.

My apologies in advance because I know that this question has probably been asked and answered many times before, but I have a big question mark appearing where a rejected files was once before. I tried F6 and F5 but nothing happened. I tried deleting the line but it comes back at F5. How do I get rid of that? Thanks!

I've had some image spending on iStock for an age... presumably as stupidly I exported from lightroom without metadata embedded.

I've deleted these Pending files from iStock, in the hope of re-exporting them from Lightroom and then re-uploading (to save getting 15-20 rejections).

To save doing all of the descriptions and keywords again i was hoping to be able to just update the file in deepemeta and then re-upload. However, the images are still showing as 'Pending' in DeepMeta and 'Re-Import' is greyed out.

Will it take a few hours for the files to show as deleted in Istock and then I can update DeepMeta and they will revert back to waiting to upload, and then hopefully i can 're-import' the images with metadata?

DeepMeta shows rejected files in the list when the "Inactive" button at the top left is activated. You can hide these by deactivating that button.

Some rejected files still show a thumbnail, others don't have any (a question mark is shown then). This is because iStock does not keep thumbnails for all rejected files. I think they purge these after some time.

I think the easiest is to add the files again in DeepMeta, this time with metadata. Then you can use the copy and paste feature to copy any keywords from your old files to the new. Then you can cancel the original files and upload the new ones.

I have some large panorama files I can't upload. I get an error message that it is not a jpeg file (although it is), or that there is not sufficient memory. When I close Deepmeta and open it again, sometimes the files do get uploaded and sometimes not.

It's most likely a very big file (in terms of megabytes), and DeepMeta has to have it fully in memory to create thumbnails and upload it. So, I'm guessing it's a memory related problem.

This is why after a fresh reboot, you have more chance for it to go through. I suggest you try that (or add more memory to your system

Let me know if this is any help.

Hello to everybody.

Sorry if I'm making a repeated question.

I'm using deepmeta for a few days now and all seems to work fine, except that from yesterday to now I had one single file saying "Upload image...". It's just frozen there. don't upload anything.

Thinks it probably should be considered:

While uploading the file just before this one, my MAC (using Mac 10.7.5) went down and after that DeepMeta just gave 3 errors on opening and went down too.

Tanks already for all your help.

+++++++++++++++ Vetta nominations +++++++++
Apparently there is currently a problem with Vetta nominations. Selecting a file for nomination at upload time does not appear to actually nominate the file, or according to initial info, might nominate but not display as nominated.

++++++++++++++++ UPDATE +++++++++++++++

I'm happy to report that the final version of DeepMeta v1.6 is now available for download.

This version is nearly identical to v1.6 b3. This was in beta so long, tt was about time we released it

Support for the new collections (Signature and Signature+) has been added. Start a "fetch all data" (Ctrl-F5) to update your data and its assigned collections. More specifically, "Signature" files will not be marked as such until you perform a "fetch all data".

The main reason for this release is that we'll soon start with DeepMeta v2.0 Beta 1
This beta version will initially contain some nice features that make information more readily available. The following beta updates will have additional fixes and long standing requests. All your suggestions have been kept close at hand all the time.
I'm also hoping to finally get a batch edit tool in there, so stay tuned ...

Thanks for all your continued support and feedback!

The 16003 error has been happening over the last few weeks. It is an iStock server issue. This means you'd get the error with the old DeepMeta version as well as with the new.

There's an ongoing discussion about it in the DeepMeta windows thread.

I hope to see this fixed soon as well, and will report when I hear any news from iStock HQ.
Thanks for reporting.

I'm guessing that the 8 MR JPGs are very big in size, and perhaps your PC memory is not very large.
If that's the case, it's probably best to supply smaller MR JPGs to DeepMeta. They will get scaled down anyway.

/I have a Mac with a 16 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3.  The 8 MR jpegs are downsized to 1500 px.

I now changed to lower quality jpg (6 instead of 12) and the MR files got down to sises = 550-750 K but I still got the error message.

So I tried to stitch the 8  (now smaller) MR:s and DM refused, no error message, but nothing happened.

Tried to stitch the MR in two sets of 4 each and this worked but to my surprice the now stitched files made up of 4 files each 1500 px and 550-750K was >17000 px and 62,2 MB.

By taking these two stictched MR files and dowmsizing them and uploading them together with the file I finally manages to upload mu panorama.

However something funny obviously happens when trying to upload (or stitch) a large number of MR:s

ETA The panorama was uploaded but unfortunately in spite of the fact that DM did uplod the MR:s it was too late for the insoection so it was rejected for lack of MR (but also for a couple of missed logos)
