Went for a walk after all. It is rather cold but sun is shining. Met my friends who came on bikes where I was walking so we had some hot chocklad by the water ( had dinner with them yesterday so we have really started seeing each other again). You can see that warn dress i needed and there is still some snow around. Little Ruben very proud of his new, first real bike.

Thanks for the comments on my images, Silvia it was a misstake making the first one Editorial, will change it.

They do manage to chase and catch things all the same.

Like pit vipors, badgers and the occasional bear.

Love that last picture with the carrot Parker, so stinkin' cute!! Of course, now I'll have to buy little H a bunny costume. smile

Britta, nice to see your neighbours, it was such a joy to meet them when i was on your island. Real nice and genuinely kind people. Tell them my greeting when you see them the next time, please.

Parker, he is sooo cute.

No pets here, but i am looking forward to them time when i#ll have a garden, then there will be cats, i predict that i will bore you all with my pics of them.

A quiet day here, good friday is a public holiday here in Germany, traditionally a day of silence, good for me to slow down a bit. It was snowing this afternoon.

Good shots up there everyone. No sales or uploads here yet today. But we toured a fairly close by adult day care facility yesterday. All looks good and we're set for a visit/evaluation on Monday. Hopefully things are looking up and my two best girlfriends can get a periodic break while my one older girlfriend gets a day or three "out" a week with some good care. We'll see. smile

Ted, you sure have a lot of girlfriends  Haven't been there and didn't do it so I can only imagine...no not really cannot even imagine but I wish you all best Ted.

Parker, very cute shots, you should of let him wear it in the summer and take a shot while he is eating ice cream or on the beach

Silvia, plant a lot of catnip maybe you can get crazy group shot of neighborhood cats.

So today is Good Friday and following Polish tradition I am living strictly of the fish and moderate eating, yeah I know church cancelled that out but since I grew up with those rules I decided to follow them anyway. I went to Polish deli stores to get some Polish kielbasa and cold cuts along with eggs, salt/pepper and traditional bread for the easter basket that we will go to bless in the church tomorrow and noticed nice fat, juicy rainbow trout, smoked in hot smoke, never had one before it was always a mackerel, eal, cod or whitefish, so I decided to try it....OMG...just finished eating it and I was never so in love with trout, highly recommended. Just thought I'll share it with you guys in case any of you is a smoked fish lover

Here is my first for a day, somebody is going nuts out there

Charlie-that is another great "Golden" shot, and tircs dog at the computer makes me laugh too.  I can see I need to put my dogs to work, earning their keep.

Britta, I especially like the first Thailand shot, and there is probably a need for these types of shots for travel articles and such.

Love the bunnies Parker especially the last one.  A side benefit of stock will be the ability to stroll through all the stages of your son's growing up through your portfolio.  It happens so slowly and so quickly all at the same time.  I am still struggling with lighting, and really owe any success in Raleigh to Alina and Ed who helped me so much, but I am working on it and occassionaly getting it right.

Jenn, I remember you from Raleigh.  It was a good time, and you got some fabulous imagery from that (many Vettas).

Nice job on all the Good Friday sales everyone.  My daughter is comming home soon, maybe we will colour some eggs for old times sake.

Happy Easter!

Hi, Amy. I haven't posted that yet. Welcome to the fun house.

Rye, you are right. I had to look up Fish in Brewis. I think that was invented before the healthy eating concept!

Chris, love the sound of your traditions. Our Easter week is pretty simple. Mostly Easter service and dinner with the family. Our church has Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday services too but I missed them all this year.

Britta, I really like your biking neighbors picture. I love that Sweden tends to consider a bicycle as a tool and not just a toy. Are helmets required for children? I noticed the boy has one but not the dad. I have seen some discussion here that helmets keep people from riding and we shouldn't require them. The idea is that it makes biking look dangerous and scares people away. And there is the whole helmet hair issue that keeps some away. I understand the point but I am pretty sure I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for my helmet. I don’t seem to bounce very well.

//...helmets...makes biking look dangerous...// *head slap* Geesh!! Why didn't I understand this before?? And guns are only dangerous if you don't have enough bullets onboard to outlast the other guy. All makes perfect sense to me now, Steve.

Steve, helmets are compulsory for children up to 15 (law from 2005)  but not for adults, however very common in Stockholm where most people use them so I guess Per, the father, also has one but with a very leasury biking with his two young sons he probably does not feel he nees it.

We always wear our helmets and in this province it is the law for all ages.  I too have heard all the arguments about not wearing them, silly.

I am going to apologise ahead of time if I miss anyone :-P

Rye I am glad you dont have fleas yet  Love the Aurora pic ... I have no idea what fish in brewes is ,,, and I am not googling it so someone will ahve to enlighten me.

Sorry Charlie I didnt watch the video due to trying to do schoolwork and then forgot, now I am short of bandwidth so I will have to take your word for it that it was cute Love the puppy therapy again

Hmm Chris cant wait to see your fish with bunny ears lol. Your nuts pic makes me think of the Grandma in the Addams Family

Love the shots from Thailand Britta. The bicycling image of your friends is a great shot too. It cdertainly looks cold there.

Ice on bites is handy to know Susan. Love the blossom shot!

Parker your little bunny boy is such a cutie!

Jenn your cat sounds like a real character. One of my friends has a cat that kills rabbits then eats the brains and leaves the rest as a present for her ... nice looking cat. Cats will always chase and kill things no matter if they are indoor cats or well fed, its just what they do.

Micah I bet H would look great in a bunny suit lol.

Silvia have you found a place yet? I will love seeing pics of your home and pets when you get them.

Gary love the pooch at the laptop. Have fun with the Lumix.

Ted thinking of you and the new arrangements. I hope they work out and give everyone a much needed rest.

Amy if you hang around here long enough you will get all sorts of great ideas.

Steve I am still no wiser on what fish in brewis is ... helmets make riding look dangerous ... crazy talk!

Dieter I am glad to hear that a helmet saved your done!

I am getting annoyed with myself, I am getting lighting rejections galore

No, i haven't found a place yet, but i am not searching that much, would prefere to get moms house sold before, and think a bit more what i need and what i want in the new place. It is getting clearer, all this needs some time.
