Thanks gswd and JC for your comments...
I can't wait to get moving to the next battle - this one was so much fun : ) Suemack, are we still on for when yours is all scored?

Welcome back, Molly! Hope you had fun. My trip was awesome--great weather and wonderful scenery in CO! (I have some new pics on my site if you want to look.)
I see you have another battle lined up already. Hope I can find another opponent too . . .

It was great (I was in the Smoky Mountains), although my daughter got sick and my allergies got the best of me!
Lauren, I love CO! I'll bet your photos are gorgeous!

Those judges must all be tied up with the BR . . . hopefully we'll have a result soon. I know Molly is itchin' to start on her next battle! Just how are those allergies, eh? (Truly, I hope you are better--I know they can make ya miserable.)

5 - 6 - 7 - 5 - 5 = 28
6 - 6 - 6 - 7 - 5 = 30
woo hoooooo Im a real colour man so I loved the use (almost overuse) of colour.
There were a couple of things I feel you both were guilty of which was not creating any sort of depth, which in some instances is ok it give a whole surreal feel but something to be mindful of in future battles.
mnm71 Great start to caging... let me take the opportunity to offer you a warm welcome and I think you have comfortably come away with the win in your first battle and Im sure its not the last we will see from you
5 - 4 - 7 - 5 - 5 = 26
6 - 5 - 6 - 6 - 6 = 29
A nice, reasonably close battle.
I felt mnm71 just had the upperhand in finishing and composition, although Redleash, unleashed some magic in Round 3 however I don't think it will be enough to take the battle from mnm.
Redleash's first couple of rounds were very eclectic, and didn't really "gel", the next 3 were a good improvement, however there seem to be just some elements or effects that were added that just seem out of place, the boy in the bubble in round 5 for instance, it just seems tonally and conceptually out of place, whereas mnm's blows just seem a little more "together" and thought out, compositionally and conceptually - which I believe gives her the edge.
My pick, mnm71 by a small margin.
4 - 6 - 6 - 4 - 4 = 24
6 - 6 - 7 - 7 - 5 = 31
This will be a close one. Lots of creativity here on both sides and you mixed it up with various styles. Sometimes less is more and on both sides I see that the blows are overworked. Too much filtering that needs to blend in more naturally. The attention to the details comes across in many of them but would have liked to see more thought in the overall composition and not just trying to keep a storyline going. Battle on!
Contender: 78 / 150
Opponent: 90 / 150
Winner by Unanimous decision is mnm71.
Award: 41 download credits.
Judges for this battle: Colonel, mnieves, chemc.

Congrats, Molly! I hope you put those credits to good use in your next battle--I'm sure suemack will keep you hoppin' but I know you're up to the challenge. I very much enjoyed our battle and I learned a few things that I hope I can put to use in the future. And I hope to have the chance soon . . . *hints to anyone who is listening*
