RACE TO BRONZE!! (Top 25 Finalized)

The previous race to 250 downloads (started by BenLin) has just ended with a winner now from each of the three categories. Congratulations to Imgorthand, skdesigns, and Inkout! Based on this, I thought it was a good idea to start a NEW race to bronze!

So, if you are up for some friendly competition AND have less than 50 DLs, please feel free to join the race! The race will be open to new competitors until someone makes it to 250, so feel free to join at any time.

As of right now we don't have any prizes except for bragging rights, but the increased royalty at bronze (plus potential for exclusivity) should be enough, right?

How do we update things here? Do we chime in with our numbers or will they be taken from an app somewhere? +1 for me by the way

I will probably just keep the initial number in the original post, but feel free to update things along the way (such as big download days or extended licences etc). I would say we should also post milestones such as 25, 50, 75, 100, etc downloads so that people know where we are. I'm sure once someone is getting really close, the updates will probably happen every few hours!

All that being said, congrats on the extra download! I know the search feature was down for a bit yesterday so I'm glad the buyer found your image!

Welcome to the new group James!

Good job on the new race, algebra.  I hope everyone here has as much fun in this race as we all did in the last race.  Unfortunately, I can't join because I have just over 50 DLs, but I'll butt in every once in a while.

One of the rules in a race like this is the privilege to pimp, or show off your shots.  That's normally not allowed in the regular threads, but if you do them sparingly here, it's OK.  A great image to pimp is your very first download.  I'll start it off by sharing my first download:

Hi Guys!


Every time I upload an image, I'm hoping this will be the shot that gives me many, many downloads in a short period of time. Up till now I was always dissapointed However, last week I uploaded an image of a metal picture frame(?) and this shot got it's first DL after 2 views (8 days after I uploaded it!). Hopefully this is my lucky image...BTW, I'm on 40 now

That's a very stock-worthy image, Erik.  I can see it being used in a ton of different ways for advertisements.  Good job!
