Woo, what a game will Murray win.

And how cool is the centre court lid.

An epic game for sure, nearly 4 hours of tough tennis.

Grief, Andy, you kept me off iStock for about 90 minutes, which must be a record!

Don't do that to me again. Great game, though! Much better for the audiences to have 'won' rallies than all these aces which were too often the winners for a while.

Awesome match and yeah the lid is really funky.  They would have to have stopped and resumed tomorrow without it.  I felt so sorry for Murray getting interviewed at the end, the poor guy was completely wrung out with emotion and exhaustion and the last thing he needed was to have a camera stuck in his face recording it all for the world to see.

Stan the Man was a cool looking player though - why isn't he a much bigger star already?  He even has perfect hair...

The interview was just obnoxious. Yuk. And he may have perfect hair, but my mother in law (with whom I was watching it) reckons his nose was too big and in fact spent quite a large proportion of the match pointing that out to anyone who was interested so there´s no pleasing everyone.

The interviewer can be pretty obnoxious, too, but that seems to go with the territory and, like pets, it can win prizes.

I thought the man with the attractive Swiss name (Stanislav) played excellently, learning from when Gonzales beat Murray at the French Championships. Even so, after he'd won the first set, I still thought it would be his last.

Worrying for the Murray camp. If he's wrung out now, I don't see how he's going to make the final.

Toughest challenge for Murray yet. What let him down was his form in the first set. Too many unforced errors and poor serving. He would have wrapped it up by the third set if he'd been more focussed and we could have all gone to bed with our cocoa a lot earlier.

What got me was the fact that he was playing so late because of the new roof... why was it such a big deal? I think there was a certain charm to playing in the open elements with the inevitable rain and poor light affecting play... it was as much an element of Wimbledon as Pimm's No. 1, Strawberries and cream, and that bloody Cliff Richard.

I saw most of the match but admittedly not the last set as it clashed with last orders! I'm still not convinced about Murray - too content to stay at the back and wait for opponent's errors instead of trying to force his own winners, and I don't think this is a plan that works against the best opposition. Lack of bottle perhaps?

Had it not had British interest I don't think I would have watched much of the game anyway, these back court long rallies waiting for errors are just boring. As one of the radio commentators said - why do they bother practicing volleys at the net in the warm up when they never go for them in the match?

Interesting interview with Murray here, where he talks about how the roof affected his game...... I did notice that they seemed to be sweating an awful lot...

Interesting women's semis this afternoon: Serena's tense game, all down to just a very few points, and Venus making mincemeat out of the 'World No 1'. How embarrassing.

So, which Williams sister is going to win on the 4th July? (Is that like "which twin has the Toni?"?)

I want Venus to win. I've never been a fan of Serena.

And when do Roddick and Murray play? Go USA!!

What a fitting match up for 4th of July weekend here in the States. Tomorrow is a holiday for most people, myself included. Looking forward to watching some good tennis.

Been watching Murray in all his matches so far this year.Very impressed with his improved strength and fitness.

Roddick has a good serve but needs to get a very high percentage of first serves in to stand any chance in tomorrows semi-final as Murray's superior fitness will tell and remember he had beaten  Mr Federer in there last four encounters....

The guy is cool and confident and a pleasure to watch.
