You can always report suspected license infringements to iStock Compliance Enforcement either via a Support Ticket to Contributor Relations or an email to ce at istockphoto dot com.

Wow, great resource with TinEye, Dave. I found a horrible trace of my cow offered on a site as a bonus for purchasing their software... they saved a whopping $1. Sheesh. :
I also noticed some of my files being used that look like legitimate purchases (exact file, not a trace, with no iStock watermark).
Yes, Simon, we can laugh about it, and if we see obvious infringement, a letter to CE could be a good idea, or even to the user to just let them know eyes are watching. It might make them pause the next time... maybe.

I already wrote to Contributor Relations about this website http://allday.ru/clipart/vector/ - lots & lots of vector given away for free including iStock files. Would be nice to hear anything back..

^^^ I too found a site like this giving away free blatant traces of Istock files about 8 months ago. I sent away to CE... the site is still offering same said vectors, however... :S

gabycontrreras is not exclusive, so she can sell her files that are on istock anywhere and in any form she likes.

I have seen this greeting cards with iStock images on etsy, what I taught is that they bought the rights directly from the illustrator! Well I guess you never know... I sell on etsy, and some of my designs may look alike... just in case you have seen those, well it's ok the're mine. lol.


from what i understand its ok to sell physical prints of your own istock work, so anything you have on istock you can sell on etsy as long as you are printing it on something and selling that and not the file

I also saw few images with Shutterstock logo and many illos of the exclusive artist from iStock. But most ridiculous is that these people put THEIR own watermark on the. Obviously they have NO idea what copyright is..
