Antique photograph of the Trajan's Forum or Trajan's Market (Forum Traiani in ancient Latin) in Rome (Italy) as the Imperial forum (built in the 2nd century AD between the Quirinal Hill and the Capitoline Hill) appeared towards the end of the 19th century. In the picture we can see: the Trajan's Column in the middle of the remains of a big sort of porticoed square and of a building called Basilica Ulpia and on the background a neighborhood of Rome with two churches: Santa Maria di Loreto and Santissimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano.
