Description

Armagnac is one of the traditional French brandies, althogh not as well known internationally as cognac, which is produced about one hundred miles north of the Armagnac region, it has tremendous following by connoisseurs. It is single distilled, with the first batch stored in a new barrel and the pumped repeatedly into older barrels as it matures. This photograph shows the final section of the sill from which the product dribbles into a new barrel.
