Description

One of the Oriental practices which was very evident wherever one went in old town Phucket was to take off one's shoes when entering a premises. This was in hotels, shrines, restaurants, massage parlours and all holy places. In some instances, a pair of slippers would be provided, whereas in others, one was expected to walk bare footed.
