Description

For migratory beekeeping, hives are set in pairs on a sturdy steel stand. This is in order that they can be hoisted onto trucks for moving into out apiaries. They are overwintered in a sheltered home apiary, and when spring comes, they will be loaded on a truck and moved to foraging areas – they may be moved two or three times over the summer to follow the flowering periods of various crops, as well as supplying bees on contract for pollination of fruit orchards early in the year.
