In Flight - Spring, 1936: passenger and pilot talking to each other in the cabin of a de Havilland DH.84 Dragon (Railway Air Services G-ACVD) during a flight from Blackpool (England) to the Isle of Man. The British built short-haul airliner was a twin-engined biplane.
Description
Further details: This image was shot on 35mm film and is from a sequence taken before, during and after the flight - hence the identification of the specific aircraft. From the sequence it is clear that this frame was shot whilst the aircraft was in flight. The photograph is probably from May but the exact date is not currently definitely known.
